The water frame impacted the world by making more supplies quicker without a lot of people needed to make this happen.
Water frame (1768) The water frame is the name given to a spinning frame, when water power is used to drive it. Both are credited to Richard Arkwright who patented the technology in 1768. It was based on an invention by Thomas Highs and the patent was later overturned.

Arkwright knew that people were struggling with making a lot of supplies for the populated area. Over. This spinning machine spins 96 strands of yarn at once. It has a similar mechanism as the mils in Derby-shire and Lancashire and powered by waterwheels. He thought it would help make quicker supplies and it did.

The machine is powered by water. It is controlled by people who don't have to be skilled so Arkwright paid unskilled women and others to work on them. The water frame was a a large spinning machine and was used when cloth was only made by hand. The machine made thousands of cotton threads all at once. This machine was invented in 1769 by Englishman Richard Arkwright and used flowing water as its source of power.
