         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cardiac muscle cells are <strong>elongated and tubular.</strong> A basic part of the cardiomyocyte is the sarcomere which is made mostly out of contractile proteins and the mitochondria both which help in generating a fuel molecule (adenosine triphosphate, ATP) when oxygen is present. Furthermore, there is a <strong>network of tubules (sarcoplasmic reticulum) which are full of calcium ions (Ca2+). These ions are essential for proper muscle contraction to occur. </strong>The proteins in the cell are also arranged in parallel bundles- including thick and thin filaments- <strong>which together form the physical basis for muscle contraction.</strong>...The area of overlap between the filaments is darker than the rest of the cell and known as the A-band. The middle of sarcomere contains only thick filaments, as thin filaments don’t extend inward from the two ends (regions known as Z-line) of the sarcomere. The area extending in any direction from the z-lines and towards the adjacent sarcomeres is the I-band. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cardiac muscle cell <strong>makes up the heart. </strong>The heart is made up of three different parts. The middle layer is known as the myocardium, which is made of largely cardiac muscle cells.  Cardiac muscle cells are specifically found in the heart. They <strong>make up the atria</strong> (chambers where blood enters the heart) and <strong>ventricles</strong> (chambers where blood is collected and pumped out of the heart). If it weren’t for the cardiac muscle cells making very important parts of the heart, the heart wouldn’t receive its own blood supply then causing life-threatening problems. <strong>The heart needs oxygen and nutrients and the cardiac muscle cells make this possible.</strong> </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Osteoblast cells aren't as important as CARDIAC CELLS. They're an unsuitable candidate. Bone cells may be responsible for the synthesis and mineralization of bone but in order to function and have cell differentiation occur they <strong>need a regular blood supply</strong>, which is exactly <strong>what the cardiac muscle cell does.</strong> PUMPING BLOOD THROUGHOUT THE BODY. <br><br>Another unsuitable candidate for the presidential cell is the epidermal cell. The epidermal cells <strong>function isn't important or big. </strong>especially when compared to the cardiac cell.
