Authentic Learning--  When a student can find purpose in their learning they will become more engaged.  If a teacher can design a lesson that has implications to real world projects, then the act of critical thinking becomes purposeful.
Community of Learners--  It is critical for teachers to allow students to take risks while respecting each others unique input.  When our students enter the work force they must be able to incorporate the ideas of many in coming to a consensus about a solution.
Powered by Technology-- students are motivated and excited to use technology tools to enhance their understanding. In an eMINTS classroom, teachers facilitate the students to learn by using trail and error, brainstorming, cooperative learning to gain their understanding. Junction Hill would benefit greatly from having teachers that put their egos aside and focus on the real reason we are educators......
