Kent Monkman made a very characteristic gender-fluid-alter-ego, Miss Chief Eagle Testickle, who appears in a lot of his work. The character is often traveling in time back to colonization, where Miss Chief Eagle Testickle discovers concepts of the time and indigenous peoples role. He/she appears in contemporary work as well and is the center stage for Monkman’s performance art.
