My goal is to make monument that successfully achieves these criteria.
This task and product is for the NISC Diorama club. This club gathers renditions of famous landscapes such as Burj Khalifa, Paris, and a number of others.

Able to be recognized as the structure it is
Stable and decently secure
Similar and good sense of dimensions and style + proportions
I want it to be historically accurate down to the small details and similar in color too. However to be realistic I won't be able to replicate every small detail of this temple because I lack the materials and facilities.
That is why I will have to be able to rule out which details I will include and which I will exclude.

As a rough brief I will show a synopsis of my process.
I will go on pencil and paper and rough out my measurements and just give a rough idea of my temple
Then I will go and specifically rule out all the details I will include and exclude, and rough out extra details like how long it'll take, the size, the end product look and maybe some extra features like painting it.
I'll go on tinker cad and finish the design, then 3d print it.
I will do some extra processes like painting it or such (I will figure them out in later development)

After I completely finish my plan and do the process, I will carry it out and have my end product. Although to measure if I successfully completed my goals and achieved my criteria I will send out a form to a variety of students questioning them on if I succeeded, I will also reflect on my mistakes. What I did well and what I could do better the next time.

To rule out if I succeeded or not I want over 50% of answers to pick the right choice (I will be asking multi choice questions)

Some of the challenges I will be facing is staying studious and being able to keep up with my workload, I will also struggle a lot with tinker cad and making sure I don't make small mistakes that could cost my project. However my solutions are to seek assistance from experiences tinker cad users on the internet and seek some assistance with classmates too. As for keeping up with my workload that is up to me to work out myself but I have made up my own solutions to that problem too. I fixed this by just deleting it because it wasn’t a core detail and wouldn’t take away much from my final design.

I had a square at the middle of my eiffel tower that was too big and couldn’t be printed so I fixed it by scrolling through the corner end of the square to make everything smaller and repositioning it into the eiffel tower

In the end, Mr. D helped ppoint out that my model was actually not parallel and some shapes were out of positioning, this was pretty simpel to fix. I just had to reposition everything so it was equal and parallel.

Some changes I had to make to the plan was that I was missing a few steps and didn’t add enough to detail which I had to add along the way while doing it. Such as cutting a bit more into the tower to add detail, adding some extra shapes for detail and reshaping a few shapes so that it fits the printing machine and was printable.

I couldn’t do these things because during our design period I didn’t have access to a laptop and only got an ipad towards the end which forced me to rush.

The first 4 questions are for D2 and D3 to evaluate my success, if more than half of the answers choose correctly (moat are multiple choice and all have a correct answer) then I would determine that as a success. If they picked in a way as an option I would conclude that as an okay/ mediocre job

My EBI was what I wanted for my D3 so that I could really determine the faults and mistakes of my product from an outside perspective and why.

It’s been delivered as an STL File and has been made by 3D PLA Filament

However, during my Durability test it was able to withstand 5 drops, hits, and throws so even without a leg my model is still relatively durable.

Essentially I failed my project and didn’t successfully make a product I was proud of. There were a lot that I thought I could improve on and was on my EBI in my form. Some improvements I could’ve made is sanding some of the edges or lines that struck out of the structure (especially around the broken leg). I could’ve painted my eiffel tower gray to make it more similar to the eiffel tower and comparable. I also could’ve redesigned a lot things better, for example 2 sides of my tower were bigger and wider than the other which made it un apealing visually because of it being unsymmetrical. I also should’ve tried harder to glue my missing leg in the eiffel tower to make it more similar. Extra detail like adding holes or making small cuts and shapes were things I were missing too.

Opportunities: This model COULD be used as an everyday functionable piece of equipment like pencil holder if its hollowed out or a stand for something else. It could also be used as a reference or a test run.

I want to be able to make clear adjustments to mine and see what i did wrong in comparing to theirs.

My foundation needs a lot of work, my models legs were too thin and I missed the biggest core detail of the Eiffel tower which are the recognizable holes in it. I added the majority of small details in a less accurate and detailed way. My Proportions aren’t as symmetrical and perfect as this model too.

In conclusion, while my model doesn’t come close to this.
