Prospero exemplifies this theme, due to him using his power to benefit others such as his magic to control storms. But He also used that power for abuse and control. Such as when he put his daughter to sleep and made her mood change to be more bendable, he also uses his power to make Arial remember how he was trapped and owes Prospero a great deal even thought that debt was paid already.
