<title>5. What does the dialogue (conversation) reveal about Richard Wright&#39;s life? Use examples from the text to prove what you say.The dialogue reveals that something happened to the boy’s father, so that’s why they can’t get food since his father was the one providing it. His mom is going to have to start finding a way to feed her and her son. It says, “Yes, it was true that my father had not come home to sleep for many days now and I could make as much noise as I wanted. Though I had not known why he was absent, I had been glad that he was not there to shout his restrictions at me. But it had never occurred to me that his absence would mean that there would be no food”, showing that his father is gone and that’s the reason why he cannot eat.</title>
