         <description><![CDATA[<div>The proclamation of 1763 was used to end any war or conflicts between American Indians and colonial settlements.<br><br>The British passed the proclamation because it declared the boundaries of the 13 colonies as the Appalachian Mountains.<br><br>The colonists reacted by signing against King George III. The colonists didn't like or want it.</div>]]></description>
