My piece will probably be a blend of hip hop and Jazz to create a mellow feel
As for the sounds there will be a piano since it's my best instrument as well as consonants

I select music based on what appeals to me as most musicians would agree as well. I learn pieces a few measures at a time. I practice the only way i know how, repitition

To start a composition i think about what type of music i want and how to cause interest in the intro
I make my decisions on the spot because it works best for me

Knowing the piece you want to play helps since you won't have to learn any rhythm or tone
Obviously practice makes perfect but the way i practice is repetition ehich lead to muscle memory

these 2 songs couldn't be anymore different. haps has an upbeat allegro based tempo song to match the name. as well as being in a major key to describe the tone of the song. All of me has a much slower rhythm although they are both in majors all of metas the complete opposite tone of Happy. one represents gaining something while the other represents a loss

When performing or practicing a piece the structure matters. Its a good thing to know because it helps you to understand what type of fingering you should have, how the rhythm should be as well as the tempo of the song. However if you're trying to improve the quality of a piece you should choose something specifically to work on like fingering or the rhythm and just keep practicing until you get it perfect and so on. The only step I know in practice is repetition

When I practice I make sure I pace myself and dot rush the song during practice to work on my essentials. The rhythm and pace of the song are what have seemed to Improve.practicing for longer periods of time would most likely show beneficial results towards the song. To me a piece is ready wen I can play it without looking as well as having made no mistakes/

The sounds in these songs invoke strong emotions understanding where and these emotions come from would help you listen to the song from the point of view it was meant to. The sound is meant o portrait the mood the creator wants to go along with the other musical elements

I'd have to say I added a lot more harmony into the entire piece. Making sure all the sounds blended together properly. I describe tis piece as intriguing there's no way some could listen to part of this not want to listen to the rest of the song. I know a composition is ready when I notice myself getting lost in my own music.

When I'm trying to improve the quality of my creative piece there's a couple things I think about. One being what moods am I trying to make the listener feel and two being has someone else already done this, I like my work to be 100% original. Once I feel I have al the sounds and beats I want I think what can I do to make this better, what am I missing in this piece. Limiting yourself is the last thing you want to do in creating music never tell yourself here's nothing left to add all I do is say this is all I need to get my point across.

When I'm creating music my best way of knowing when my work is ready to share is when I have to keep asking myself what can I add next over and over. Eventually you will realize that the feelings you are trying to make the listener feel they have already been pieced together into your composition. Te setting of m composition in particular would have to be a mix of jazz and hip-hop music. Listeners should know that the point of the composition is to make them feel happy or energetic.

As you probably know everybody has their own idea of good music so when I'm judging the quality f music I try to see what the artist is trying to portray and if they do it successfully. So when you want to make a playlist its the same idea. You choose songs that you feel interpret the same idea.
