Romeo- He believes love is a serious matter and not being able to obtain that love is real devastating moment in one's life especially when Rosaline told Romeo that any courtship would happen between them. His grief is severe and heart has been stricken with despair and sadness. This is shown in Act 1, Scene 1 and lines, 176 to the end of scene 1 beginning of scene 2.

Juliet- Juliet is very young and is new to the concept of love when it comes to other people leading to her love becoming irrational which is seen when she poisons herself so she can later be romeo after her family thinks she dead Act 4, sc 1-2, 10-20, 13-19 Despite being so you she can tell the difference between forced love and actual love seen through her parents trying to make her marry paris and her wanting to be with romeo.

Montague Family

The Montague family cared about each other. For when Romeo’s parents were looking for him in the beginning of the play, lady Montague asks and says “ O, where is Romeo? Saw you him today? Right glad I am he was not at this fray”(1.1.18-19). Lady Montague cared for her son so much that Montague told Prince that “[his] wife is dead tonight.Grief of [his] son’s exile hath stopped her breath.”(5.3.18-20)

Capulet Family

The Capulet family loved each other just as did the Montague Family. For example, when Tybalt died, Lady Capulet cried “Tybalt, my cousin, O my brothers child!... For blood of ours, shed blood of Montague”(3.1.154-157). This clearly showed that Tybalt was loved. When Juliet fakes her death, Lady Capulet again cries “O me! O me! My child, my only life. Revive, look up, or I will die with thee. Help, help! Call help”(4.5.24-26). This again shows how much they cared for each other. They buried both Tybalt and Juliet in the family tomb.

Capulet

Capulet loves his family, especially his daughter because she is the future of the family. He shows his care for Juliet by telling Paris that “My will to her consent is but a part”(1.2.17)

Juliet's Family Relationship: In the beginning, Juliet's Father Capulet showed that he was protective of her when it came to marrying Paris, (1.2.7-11). When Tybalt died Lady Capulet mourned for him and she clearly loved him deeply. (3.1.154-158). After Tybalt's death Juliet's parents were worried about her and thought the wedding would cheer her up, (4.2.25). When Capulet and Lady Capulet saw that their daughter dead, they mourned for her all over again.(5.3.210-215).

Romeo's Family Relationship: In the beginning, Romeo's cousin Benvolio was worried about how sad he was when Rosaline didn't return his feelings (1.1.163-247). Romeo's mother was glad that Romeo wasn't part of the fight that had happened (1.1.118-119). Benvolio took Romeo to the Capulet's party to try to cheer him up and help him forget Rosaline (1.3.90-108). Romeo's mother was so sad about Romeo being banished that her she "stopped her breath" and died (5.3.218-220).

How the two families felt about each other: Both the family's hated each other and were considered enemies but they didn't have a real reason for hating each other (1.1.76-82) and (the prologue. 3).

Other family members: The Nurse cared deeply about Juliet. She breastfed her and took care of her.(1.3.18-35). She helped Juliet when she needed her. Although the Nurse didn't support their relationship she still helped Juliet communicate with Romeo (3.3.151-157).

Romeo's feelings of love : In the beginning of the book, Romeo was in love with Rosaline. When Romeo saw Juliet for the first time at the Capulet ball , he called her a true beauty. All of his feelings for Rosaline went away. Romeo compares Juliet to the sun (Scene 2, line 2 and 3). He got married to Juliet the day after they met.

Juliet's feelings of love: Paris wants to marry Juliet but Capulet told him to wait for at least 2 years because she was just 13. She had no feelings for Paris but she loved Romeo. Juliet was the first to mention marriage to Romeo and they got married the next day after they met at the Capulet's ball.
"Of honorable reckoning are you both, And pity 'tis you lived at odds so long. But now my lord, my lord, what say you to my suit?( Act 1. Sc.2 lines 4-6)."

Capulets(Juliet's family) and Montagues(Romeo's family):
(Act 5 Sc.3)" A glooming peace this morning with it brings. The sun for sorrow will not show his head. Go hence to have more talk of these sad things. some shall be pardoned , and some punished for never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo." It shows that there will be a sad peace and no more Romeo to sorrow and have his head down .

Tybalt (Juliet's cousin): Tybalt was loved by Juliet but not by Romeo. Romeo got into a fight with Tybalt and Tybalt killed Mercutio which was family to Romeo so Romeo killed Tybalt in revenge . Juliet's beloved cousin was dead and Juliet cared more about her love for Romeo than Tybalt . "Patience perforce with willful choler meeting Makes my flesh tremble in their different greeting. (Act.1 Sc.5 lines 100-101)".

-The parents of Juliet Capulet are Lady Capulet and Capulet. She also has relations towards Tybalt and she is very close to the Nurse. Peter, Sampson and Gregory are all servants in the Capulet household. They're relationships between each her parents are very distant and forceful. For example, the text states that " My will to her consent is but a part and she agreed within her scope of choice, lies my consent and fair according voice" ((1.2.17-19)

-The parents of Romeo Montague are Lord and Lady Montague. He also has his cousin Benvolio. There is not much dialogue in the whole play between Romeo and Montague but Romeo and Benvolio are very close. In the play there are close to 10 pages of Romeo and Benvolio in deep conversation which did not involved fighting. They are acquainted with one another.

-These two families dislike each other very deeply. They recognize each other as enemies. Although, Rome and Juliet see love to each other they have to keep it very discrete. In the text it states "Two households both alike in dignity (in fair Verona, where we lay our scene), From Ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean" (Act 1 Prologue. 1-4). They have many conflicts that appear in this story and also a love story to be told.

-Another family involved The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is the royal family. Prince Escalus is the prince of Verona and makes sure there is peace. Romeo's best friend Mercutio and the man who wishes to marry Juliet, Paris, are both in the royal family. The text tells us this in the very first act. "If ever you disturb our streets your lives shall pay the forfeit of peace." (1.1.99-100). This shows that the Prince is involved in keeping the peace in Verona. Mercutio and Paris do also have significant roles in the play even further bolstering the involvement of the royal family.
