Social science is the branch of science devoted to the study of societies and the relationships among individuals within those societies. In a more brief way, it is the study of the society and the manner in which people behaved. 
    2. Politics:the academic study of government and the state. 
     Psychology: the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. 
    Archaeology: the study of the ancient and recent human past through material remains . Geography:the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments. 
    The structure of society:the distinctive, stable arrangement of institutions whereby human beings in a society interact and live together .

         Developmental studies: addresses a range of social and economic issues related to developing or low-income countries. 
        Economics: the study of societal structure concerned with the production, consumption and exchange of goods.
        Business studies: this is the study of how to manage a business and the business system.
      Law: the discipline concerned with a system of rules enforced by political leaders which are followed by a society.   
    Environmental planning: process of decision making to carry out land development while considering the natural environment, social, political, economic and governance factors.
