There are different communication expressions that we are using on daily basis such as via songs, story telling, via riddles and rhymes. Unfortunately the original Guadeloupean Creol language is being rarely used in a day to day life, as the older generation is being overtaken by the twenty first century changes. However, it is a very unique language that we had a chance to observe in the school. It is therefore more than important for most of the children in Gouadeloupe to learn creole language, additionally because it's a part of their cultural heritage and culture. That knowledge connects them with their history and culture and strengthens the bonds of the community. We had the opportunity to listen the creole language which is not spoken widely in Guadelupe and is endangered. The power of storytelling combined with the music was evident.
