This repository was designed by UNAD group 518022 to centralize and share materials developed for the English Teaching course. It brings together presentations by language skills experts, lesson plans, a teaching unit, activities using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, field diaries, and a critical reflection on the role of teachers in the digital age.

Its purpose is to offer a useful and practical guide for preservice teachers who wish to incorporate educational technology and AI into their English classes in a pedagogical, ethical, and effective manner.

Each group member became an expert in one English language skill: listening, grammar, and writing. They researched teaching methods, effective activities, and best practices, and then designed an explanatory presentation with examples and resources. Listening Plan (Esteban): Includes activities such as dialogue reconstruction, chain dictation, and content-based tasks (CLIL). Focused on active and contextual listening.

Group-developed teaching unit based on the PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) methodological approach. It includes SMART objectives, language content, sequenced activities, and consistent assessment.Reflection:

"With the arrival of AI, teachers are no longer simply transmitters of content, but rather facilitators of personalized learning, emotional guides, and promoters of critical thinking. Tools like ChatGPT and Grammarly allow the pace and style of teaching to be tailored to each student. However, the human component—empathy, creativity, and pedagogical intuition—remains irreplaceable. AI doesn't replace teachers; it enhances them."
