         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nuclear power plants have the highest capacity factor of all energy sources. A capacity factor is a fuel sources ratio of actual energy produced to maximum possible energy produced. Nuclear power plants have an average capacity factor of 92.2%. The second highest capacity factor is from geothermal with 71.7%, while gas, coal, and oil have capacity factors of 56.3%, 54.6%, and 14.7% respectively.</div>]]></description>

Water vapor is harmless to our environment and the radioactive waste can be disposed of safely. It also decays over time, and after forty years the used fuel removed from a reactor has only one thousandth of its initial radioactivity.</div>]]></description>
