SAME! I feel when I'm taking personal time, in the back of my mind I'm thinking about the work I could/need to be getting done. Also, I haven't found time to write out reflections. My concern in the class is that I am not offering enough rigor to my students to help them grow. Although, I assign a lot of work, I haven't quite aligned that work with specific outcomes.

While I am not an EOC teacher, my school is incredibly focused on test scores that even I feel that my lessons and entire classroom culture needs to match the standards and expectations of my school's administration. This makes it difficult for me when I have my own visions for my classroom. At times I feel that I can't have "fun" in my classroom because it could be viewed as a "disruption" from learning the curriculum.

Same ! To all of it... and it feels good to know that I'm not alone and that others are experiencing the same difficulties as me. It's good to know I'm not crazy. But self care is important to remember, you cannot take care of your students if you are not okay yourself. And as far as the expectations, what I had to realize is that I have to view them as goals. So even if my students don't reach my expectations for student outcomes while they're physically with me, I can take comfort in knowing that I am giving them the foundation to be able to get there at some point in their academic careers

Yes! I feel like there is far too much pressure on test scores. It takes the fun out of learning. Students and teachers are both thinking, ultimately, about what the test scores will look like, which, in my opinion, does not contribute to a positive learning environment. Additionally, there is too much testing during the year that takes away from instructional time.
