Hello, We are from Niedzwiedz, a small village in the south of Poland. We are in Year 3 of middle school. With the help of our English and Art teachers and Mr Duncan, a native speaker we are going to prepare a fantastic perfomance in English the title of which is "Cinderella contemporary" First, we would like to share our favourite books with you. Recently I have read an amazing book. It's one of the best books I've ever read. "Love, Rosie" by Cecilia Athern is a novel mostly for young people. The story happends in Dublin. It tells about Rosie and Alex, who have been bestfriends from the age of 5. They are together all the time. Despite the problems which these friends make very often, they can't live without each other. Unfortunately Alex has to leave to Boston to college. At the same time Rosie gets unexpectedely pregnant. She is so scared and she must stay in Irleand. Their friendship has to overcome a lot of difficult moments. They don't realize that the best thing for them is to admit their feelings. Because of it, they live in delusion. They usually keep in touch with letters. One day, Alex is fed up with his behaviour and he writes a letter to Rosie, in which he hands love to her. But she doesn't get this letter because her ex-husband steals it.
After years Rosie finds this love letter and can't hold her emotions down. In the morning somebody rings to the door of her penthouse. She can't believe her eyes. She's been waiting for this moment for all her life.
It's him..It's Alex.. He is again with her.....
...forever...

The best book I've ever read is ,,The Fault In Our Stars''. The book is about sixteen years old Gazel Grace who has cancer. Her parents love her very much. She doesn't go to school and she doesn't have friends. She spends all her free time reading. Her favourite author is Peter Van Houten's. She wants to meet him and ask about his books. Suddenly she gets to know a boy. His name is Augustus Waters. He is 18 years old. He really likes basketball and he has tissue bone cancer. He and Hazel fall in love and they try to make their dreams come true but their illness makes it impossible. At the end Augustus Waters dies. This book is fantastic and touching. I want to read the next part of this book.

Last year I read Suzannes Collins trilogy : 'The Hunger Games', this book is the best book I have ever read. 'The Hunger Games' trilogy is made of 3 great parts, but the best of them is first. The action of this book takes place in Panem, the main character is Katniss Everdeen who replaced her younger sister Primrose in 'The Hunger Games' . The Hunger Games is about a competition between 24 young people . Only one can survive. These games Katniss won with her friend Peeta Mellark. In next part of 'The Hunger Games' Peeta is Katniss' boyfriend and they don't have an easy life. They fight against the president Snow who organizes the games every year in Panem. Finally the good people win. In the last part of the book Katniss and Peeta have got children - one boy and one girl. Panem is better than it was before. This book is very interesting. I recommend it. The adaptation is worth seeing too.

Recently I have read a very interesting book. Its title is "Infinity". The book is written by Holly-Jane Rahlens. The American writter appreciated by European readers, especially in Germany.
The events described in the book are happening in the distant future, namely in 2264. The world depicted in the book is dark and cool. People behave as devoided of feelings robots. Everyone is talking about himself in the third person. The main character of the book is a historian and a translator of a dead German-Finn Nordstrom.He is asked to translate the diary of a girl from 2003. Man takes the task and begins to read the diary. He is fascinated of what the girl has written. In the meantime Finn is testing the latest game. In this time he moves to another world. Then he meets a girl-Elliana. The girl is very similar to the author's diary. After some time, the boy begins to suspect that this is the same girl. He recognizes her for her perfumes called "Infinity". Elliana sprayed her diary with it. Finn is increasingly attached to the girl and increasingly moves to her world. After some time it turns out that the boy hasn't tested the games but the time machine. At last the machine begins to stop working properly, and Finn can't meet Elliana. Fortunately it manages to fix it and Finn can again meet her.
I recommend this book to everyone who likes magic, secrets and stories outside of time.

One of my favourite books is "Harry Poter and philosophers stone" written by J.K Rowling.
It tells story of a young boy who became a wizzard. The boy's name is Harry and he doesn't know about his magical power. He is the wizard's child, who survived the dangerous spell cast by Lord Voldemort. Unfortunatly, his parents died then. After these events, the hedmaster Dumbledore decides to move Poter to his uncle. After some time his carer recives a letter from Hogwart about being accepted to the school. After that, there are a lot of unbelivable adventures!
This book is fantastic and very intresting.
I recommend this book.

The best book I have ever read was ,,Little Prince" which was written by de Saint-Exupery. ,,Little Prince" is an classic tale of equaly good for children and adults on one level it is the story of an airman' s discovery who met in the desert a small boy from another planet-the Little Prince. The books shows what is the differences between the world of adults and children. Each character is honest, open and tolerant. I like this book very much.

The best book I have ever read is "Three Steps Above Heaven". This book was written by Federico Moccia in 2005. The main characters are Babi and Hache. Babi is an exemplary student and a good daughter. Hache is a street motorcycle racer who likes to get into trouble. They met when Babi was going to school. Since then everthing has changed. They met met again at a party in a rich street. Babi' s friend feel in love with Hache's friend - Poll.Then Hache is very romantic. He takes Babi to the beach. But then everything gets worse. Katie and Poll have an accidend and something terrible happens.
It really is the best book I've ever read. ♥

The best book I've read is ,,Jesienna miłość''. It's about a boy who didn't have a partner for the autumn part. At last he invited a girl who didn't get along with all his mates. And because of her he was humiliated. Soon he fell in love with her and she did too. The boy has found out that the girl has leukemia and she will die soon. At the end of the story the boy made her wishes come true and they got married despite he knew that she had few days of life. After the ceremony she died. This book is very interesting and touching. I recommend it to anyone who likes reading. If you don't like reading you can watch a movie entitled "A walk to remember" which is very popular, touching and breathtaking. Personally I prefer watching films to reading books but in this case the book is much better than the film.

,,The Little Prince" is a beautifull story about amazing friendship between two people- an adult pilot which crashed his plane in the desert of Sahara and a little boy who comes from faraway planet called B- 612. The Little Prince tells about a journey. He says how he got to the Earth and what kind of characters he met on the other planets. He visited planets where he met a drunkhard, a King and a geographer. This book is good for everybody anywhere and in every age. I really recommend it.

A book that impressed me is Harry Potter and the Half of Blood Prince written by J.K.Rowling. This is the sixth of the seven-book series about a boy called Harry Potter, who is a wizard. Harry goes to School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Hogwarts. He has two best friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley and a girlfriend Ginny, Weasley Ron' s sister. Together they have many adventures.
The biggest enemy of Harry Potter is Lord Voldemort. He killed Harry's parents and tried to kill Harry, then he lost his power. If Voldemort wants to regain his power, Harry must die. The most moving moments in this book is the death of Albus Dumbledore. He is a very friendly and wise man, and only person was afraid of Lord Voldemort.
I like Harry Potter because it allows me to go back to my chilhood. This leads me to the world of magic, where everything is possible, the great battle between good and evil, the young characters and amazing creatures and plants create the illusion of mystery. I think everyone should read this book. For me, Harry Potter is a very good book full of action.

The best book I've ever read is "Kleptomanka". This book was written by Jenny Pollack. It tells a story
about two friends. Julie Braverman is the coolest person which met Julie Prodsky. She can return home at any time, she wears cool clothes. Julie Braverman opens door for a friend of previously unknown world of flirting, freedom and fashion.
When it turns out that an impressive collection of clothes the girl is the result of shoplifting, Julie P. is impressed. Soon she will become the owner of such acquired outfits. Will she gain a new boyfriend. All thanks to Julie B.

If you want to know more you absolutely must read this book.
