Famous locations of these include: the Congolese rainforests and those of West Africa, the South Asian Rainforests of Indonesia, Borneo and Papua New Guinea, and the Famous Amazon Rainforest.

There are many threats to the Tropical Rainforest biome. Deforestation and Palm oil farming are the biggest. Every year, dozens of millions of rainforest trees are cut down by loggers and urban developers for timber and land to build on. This displaces the ecosystem and its animals. Along with that, Palm Oil Plantations harm the ecosystem by cutting down land which has led to the endangerment of species.
