He even said that one of his fellow captives started laughing and saying it was propaganda. I think they responded this way because like we discussed in class, the individuals involved in the Holocaust had such a small role that not everyone saw the big picture or were exposed to the atrocities of the Holocaust. For some, all they were doing was stamping papers or driving vehicles with no idea what was going on around them.

He also noted about one of other fellow soldiers and how he started to laugh at the video. The main reason why I feel they acted like this is because of how brainwashed they were from all of Hitler's promises as well as how large scale the 🤬 party was and not everyone was able to see all of the things that were going on because only certain units were associated with the holocaust and its camps.
