I am a registered nurse by clinical background, currently working in primary care as Digital and Transformation Lead Nurse for Wallsend PCN. One of my main interests (and reasons for joining the SIG) is to explore how creative practices can be used in reflection and to support health professional wellbeing, but I am also equally interested in how the arts can be promoted to patients through social prescribing and public health initiatives. Prior to completing my nursing training, I studied English at university - and continue to be interested in how the link between the arts, humanities and health can contribute to delivering holistic person-centred care.
