         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What aspects of the Dystonia society are found in your novel?  What statement is the author trying to make by utilizing that particular aspect?  What is the change that your character/s are attempting to bring about?  Do you think they will be successful and if so, will the change bring what they hope?<br><br>There are aspects of not trusting others in my society. Michael and his friends go through on their way to find Kaine. Along the way, many things try to stop him. The people who seem nice are very bad. Gunner Slake was a famous gamer before he was taken by Kaine. On page 232 it says," Why do I feel like I'm about to be sacrificed to the great animal god in the sky?" "Because, that's exactly what's about to happen."<br></strong><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Thinking back to the aspects of the Hero's Journey that we studied during the </strong><strong><em>Odyssey,</em></strong><strong>  What are some of the elements that are also utilized in your novel and with your protagonist?<br><br>Michael is a lot like Odysseus. He has a group of friends go with him to defeat Kaine, but the path to Kaine has challenges. Like Odysseus, Michael's friends all die leaving only him.  On page 256 it says,"And he was alone.
