Where do you see the future of user-generated content(UGC) in the next 5 years?

Personally, I believe that UGC will be very well known in the future of content marketing. This is because as time goes by the media would definitely start to bloom and soon be recognised and used by everyone.

Not only that, but brands that start using UGC, will then be able to create a sense of community with their consumers. Therefore, establishing a good and reliable relationship between the audiences and producers worldwide. UGC can also be used as a marketing strategy to benefit their brand and help them gain more exposure. Since UGC is made by the people for the people, customers would easily trust other consumers rather than the actual brand information because customers tend to read and trust online reviews more.

Overall, I think in 5 years UGC will definitely give a major positive impact in the E-commerce side of the media.

(145 words)

Do you trust newspapers? Why do you trust or distrust the print newspapers?

In some ways, I do trust the print of newspapers. This is because news that are published physically are often already approved and verified by writers who have done their research about a specific news article. Therefore, making it reliable and easily trusted.

However, some journalists for the print news can rebel against their work and manipulate the reports and research found to make the article more captivating therefore spreading false news and facts.
Hence, we still struggle to fully gain trust towards the print newspapers.

1. Will movie theatres still exist in 2030? How do you envision the film watching experience in the near future?
- The movie business is always changing, but these days it can be difficult to tell the difference between struggle and outright decline. In my own opinion, I think movie theatres will definitely still exist in 2030. I envisioned that the theatres will start to include more high technology to improve the viewers experience. For example, using virtual reality, augmented reality and even 4D could improve the viewing experience and making the watchers feel as if they are a part of the film.

2. The major broadcast networks have been losing viewers for the past two decades. Will they still be relevant 10 years from now? Why or why not?
- I personally do not think major broadcast networks will be relevant in the next 10 years. This is because as time goes by, technology around the world is significantly improving therefore, neglecting broadcast networks. Not only that but due to modern technology, retrieving and receiving news and further information has been more convenient when using the Internet.

Compare traditional radio listening with listening to a station via a mobile app. How are they different?

In my perspective there is a slight difference between the two however,

- listening through a mobile app could be seen as a more personal radio as users get to choose and customise the type of news or music they enjoy listening to therefore catering only to them.

- traditional radio listening does not necessarily need a stable wifi connection to listen to the audio whereas, listening through a mobile app requires wifi or the use of data in order to listen and access the app smoothly.
