I'm particularly happy to see that the fellows attribute their collective identity and solidarity emerging from the relationships they have built and the ability to be vulnerable and open with each other. A hypothesis I hold is that trust-building leads to stronger community which fosters a desire to collaborate together and that successful collaboration is a result of trust. So I'm excited to see this emerging.

I really love some of the emerging learning questions you all included, particularly how fellows are integrating what they are learning into their practices. After Muzna shared her "ah ha" moment when she realized she doesn't have a clear vision for the future, I continue to wonder if others have experienced any realizations or breakthroughs in their thinking based on these engagements with the fellowship and with each other.

- Is the Fellowship supporting their work to challenge and change inequality and if so how? How does the community building make that possible? Can we confirm/challenge Cheryl's well articulated hypothesis in Col 1?
- Really appreciated the regional differences section and am pondering what else we might learn across regions, topics, etc.
- How are they using their grant funds that are untethered?
- Is it our best and highest use to focus on "collaboration" - would like to interrogate whether this is the best/highest use of time/attention right now?

- The experience for the Fellows of the community as humanizing, non-hierarchical and thoughtfully curated space with opportunities for horizontal learning (note: I think our design model has clear assumptions that underpin the design that has led to this experience in the Core Theories document, CoP model, and Kadinsky metaphor)

- We are co-creating a culture of "belonging" that we believe will allow us to challenging the inherent non-belonging created in systems that perpetuate inequality - inequality = non-belonging

- Fellows' capacity to balance both seriousness of the work and joy is a critical capacity that was a result of a positive selection bias - the Fellowship didn't create this, but it seems to be a necessary prerequisite to engage in this work

- We have significant knowledge management to create/curate - I am observing that we are learning how to document and elevate the collective knowledge of the community AND that we can learn from others how to do this better

I didn't think this first item was missing, but would like to dig deeper into the explicit questions around "power sharing" and what we are learning about the co-design process as a team, with Fellows, and (next up) with Ford program teams

Second question that might be a fruitful conversation - what are we explicitly "not doing" in terms of practices/behaviors? (i.e., not proceeding with conclusions about data without shared sensemaking conversations with Fellows as co-owners of the learning)

One thing I would add to this document as an addendum documenting this prototype process. For FGF, this was a new process and we should document the steps that were taken by FGF Partner team to gather the data, then create sense making sessions and the key decision points (i.e. we decided to construct sense making sessions as part of program experience in January during our planning retreats - other than my direction, what led to that decision? why did we do it?)
