This gas can cause pressure to build up in the mountain, and it eventually explodes.

- Volcanos occur close to the major tectonic plate boundaries.  

  -The Hawaiian islands are the exposed peaks of a great undersea mountain range that was formed by volcanic activity.  

-The Hawaiian islands are located in the North Pacific ocean.  

-It is near impossible but scientists use monitors to detect movement in the rocks that make up the volcano and in the earth’s crust.

-Listen for emergency info and instructions, Follow any evacuation orders

-Build an emergency supply kit and make a family emergency plan.
