         <description><![CDATA[<div>I don’t really think annotations work unless you are collecting evidence or need something specific from the book. Besides that it doesn’t really work for me or increase my comprehension of the book. It usually just slows me down. Usually annotate in a brief note taking style, usually when I mark something as possible evidence or when I notice something. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I don't find annotating to be useful because it distracts me from reading the book. If I have to remind myself every time to annotate then I cannot fully enjoy the book because I have to worry about annotating. However, it does help when preparing for an assessment. When annotating, I highlight and takes notes.</div>]]></description>

However, when I <em>have</em> to annotate, I feel that it is tedious and can slow my reading down yet it is very helpful and crucial for writing essays. While annotating, I make marks where there are meaningful quotes or examples of the theme.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Annotations don’t help me as much as other things, and when we are required to annotate I find that it can interrupt me when I’m reading because I don’t like to stop and take notes in the middle of a page. I prefer to read a chapter maybe and then write my thoughts down.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When I actually own the book, annotating becomes much easier because I can actually go in and write directly on the pages.  This makes it easier to make a direct reference to evidence and important lines in the book.  When this is not possible, I find it more efficient to annotate in a notebook with the page number, that way I can easily organize my annotations into a chart to organize my thinking.</div>]]></description>
