He goes back home and realizes that his treasure is under the sycamore tree he was sleeping under in the beginning. She writes words about Wilbur in her web and Wilbur's owner takes it as a sign to put Wilbur in competitions. This was all Charlotte's plan to avoid Wilbur being slaughtered. Charlotte and Wilbur form a strong bond and become great friends. Charlotte dies, like spiders do after their babies leave the web. This is a great and interesting story that most children will enjoy reading. Atticus thinks the murderer is the victim's father, Bob, who in turn is out for revenge since his name was tarnished. Bob comes to attack Scout, but her next door neighbor, Boo Radley saves her while killing Bob. Nancy finds the old clock with Abby's cousin's journal with details of where to find a safe deposit box. Nancy Drew is a series book, so it will keep students reading. This would be a good choice for a child that enjoys reading mystery stories.
