2.Trivial issues, such as Starbucks releasing a series of holiday cups that don't feature typical Christmas symbols, have sparked controversy on social media. For example, Evangelical groups equated the company's move with the actual “removal of Christmas” from the cups.

3. Because Starbucks really isnt making scene behind the decision. Starbucks still use the colors of red and green during the holidays. This is a good example of Straw man fallacy because holidays can be related to Christmas which is still and is still considered a holiday. My argument is Starbucks should be able to put whatever they would like on there cup instead of people pleasing. This makes starbucks actually look Illogical.

The Loaded questions within the Johnny Depp Case may seem funny but the tactics used by Amber Heards lawyer when asking Johnny Depp about his Cocaine use was tactful because of relevance there was to abuse but not abuse to heard

My argument is drug abuse is not an actual attack on the individual herself. So why are these questions related to abuse on heard. The reason Depp was sueing was over a newspaper article and that amber heard made the allegations of abuse and because she spoke out is "now receiving backlash from our culture". These addmision depp gave was a clear understanding of the drug abuse but not actual abuse to heard herself. Mental abuse is a hard one to prove because she could have walked away sooner. I'm not condoning the abuse of any person concluding my argument.

Flat Earth Theory. People assume that one part of this is to be true but does not apply two the whole. This Composition/Division Fallacy is definitely a strange one.

My argument is that people cannot see the whole earth so why are people limiting the belief to just being flat?. Earth has been calculated mathematically so why would we limit the our thinking to that of a disc shape because of what is seen in pictures. Clearly our ocean would be falling off into space and we would have no water on the planet.

Ad hominem. I think most recently example of ad hominem is Presedent Trump. He has been the best example of people targeting his personal character. In the article titled Culture Critics. He was used as an example of a new comedy that had developed as a result. His character is being looked at like all he does is joke. James Parker Says "He Kills. night after night. He gives people, By God, that comedy feeling, or his version of it: gaseous, loopy, sneering, idolatrous, incipiently violent. Fascist levity. He's almost a prop comic, but his prop is human weakness."

My argument to this is what someone says about the truth supposed to be considered funny or are people just masking the truth by laughing and his character is being attacked in every way possible. It almost seems like no president is immune from this. Im not condoning any bad behaviors again im just arguing that in defense of what if I was in that position and had that happen. Is America's envy of another so bad that we need to tear down there very people we elect? wierd

2. Medical Marijuana. I thought this could be a good use to apeal to nature. I use to smoke alot of weed I use to have a passion for it. I got clean and sober 7/17/2022 and I am 2 years next month without the use of Marijuana. Im very greatful for being away from It. I had always told myself because it all natural that I wasn't hurting anyone.

3. There comes a time in life when we not only stop lying to ourselves about things but we start to see the truth. I started to experience side effects from long term marijuana use that had resulted in lowered testosterone levels while on marijuana to emotion and mental mood swings that never allowed me to fully mature as a human mentally, physically, and emotionally. While being sober and allowing my brain chemistry to come back has allowed me to see, feel, taste, touch, and hear things the way I believe a human is intended to experience life. This has just been my experience. My argument is pretty clear here though that just because its all natural doesn't mean it's good for everyone.

This lead my friend down a slippery slope.

3. She believes being suspended is going to lead to loss of trust and respect, which leads to loss of her career, future, family and lastly her marriage. This is a slippery slope fallacy because this may seem like loss at the time and feel detrimental but all we have is the 24 hours in a day. She is still married has her children her home and she gets apply at a different school. Still has her teaching credentials mind you she wont get a recommender from that school but there is different opportunity. When one door shuts its opening another door for us to learn.

2 A Handicap Handyman. Recently in the Last 5 years of my life I undergone some major surgeries that have left me handicapped. In 2018 I had shoulder surgery due to some workaholic behaviors overworking my body. Not understanding fully what was going on (along with the doctors) I went back to work off and on for the next 3 years. In 2021 because of not understanding fully what was going on unbenounced to me I was suffering from a spinal cord injury that had taken place still to this day I dont know how I could have done this myself. I'm still working that out. As a result I had a double discectomy now I walk around with 2 pieces of titanium replaced disks and permanent neurological damage This hurts daily. Bad!

3. My argument is that people assume just because I walk upright and move ok that I am an able bodied laborer. I was at one point but thats not who I am today. I get by but people don't believe that I'm handicapped hell I dont half the time either. Why is it ok to discriminate? Why is it so hard to believe? Is it because i'm not in a wheelchair. This argument is particularly hard because its very personal

2. I was a California born native that moved to Montana when I was 10. I ended up learning more about fishing and hunting than I could have ever imagined. As I got older I learned to fly fish. I love it. My friends told me I wasn't a true fisherman. I was told I was fish pimping. I never understood that because I never guided people to fish. I just like to fish. A Lot of bias on this I understand the fishing world is huge. I adopted a puritist perspective for the longest time about fly fishing and this is still my perfered style to fish. No True Fisherman Fly fishes.

3. Coming back to California I suffered a stigmatism because of this. I would not fish out here because I believed your not a true fisheman unless you fly fish. Turns out California hold a pretty big bar in the fly fishing world and alot of other fishing. Now that I have taken the time to do so ocean fishing and caught the biggest fish I have ever caught not fly fishing I actually feel more comfortable with my fishing skills than I ever have. So I have learned this is a fallacy

2. Policing. I remember watching an interview of a police officer that had said " There is the victims truth, the polices truth and the truth is somewhere in the middle. For the longest time I actually adopted this fallacy as my truth. Just saying. Turns out that this is a middle ground fallacy that some police officers use.

3. My argument to this is that when approaching a situation there is no way to know the absulute truth unless the police officer was actually there when it happened. Thank God not all people believe this. I remember another interview I saw of a police officer saying that most people are good we just catch then at a bad moment in time.
