<title>The theme that is developed in &quot; The Story of Keesh&quot; is that you should not let what people tell you limit your capable of. I would say this because even though the elders turned him away with his request due to his age, he still went out into the wilderness, and did not let the words of the elders get the best of him. For example, in the text it states, &quot;Na! Na!&quot; the men cried. &quot;Put the child out!&quot; &quot;Send him off to bed!&quot; &quot; He is no man that he should talk to men with grey beards.&quot; This shows how the elders provoked Keesh, thinking that he had no say in how things worked. The text also states, &quot;Keesh strode into the village. But he came not shamefully. Across his shoulders he bore a burden of fresh killed meat. And there was importance in his step and arrogance in his speech.&quot; This shows that even though the elders provoked him, completely ignoring his request, he did not let their words throw him off course, and he went out into the wilderness and hunted for him and his people. </title>
