         <title>Under the heading of &quot;Investment in the Promise and Purpose of Others&quot;  one of the bullets states &quot;inspire others&quot;. This is so important. For too long, I have seen people live in fear of their leaders rather than be inspired by them. We should all feel that we are working on the same team and towards the same goals.  People are more inspired and motivated, to the goals of the whole, when they do not feel that they are always under scrutiny and that they feel their leaders are approachable. Their leaders can have a direct affect, on their moral of their team,  in this way.  In the same way, teachers can have the same affect on their students. I am excited about the positive, proactive ways and directions Klein ISD is heading. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Reading the profile and just kept thinking of extra curricular activities for all students.&nbsp; I believe that if a child doesn't find a productive place to belong, the element will find them and that&nbsp;will defeat&nbsp;the exit&nbsp;with a &nbsp;purpose.&nbsp; Is there a way to let primary and intermediate students be exposed to dance, baseball, golf, chess, tennis, piano- just to name a few.&nbsp; Not all parents can afford these activities and all children need to have a place to belong and the opportunity to see what they might enjoy and excel at.&nbsp;A leader needs to find a way to&nbsp;inspire &nbsp;every child to discover their potential. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the Profile of a Learner and HQT drafts, I really liked how they had some lead statements like "Intentionally rooted in positive and productive relationships by..." and then had the supporting bullets. I would like to see the Profile of a Leader to follow the same pattern.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like this profile, however at a campus level I think it would be difficult to adopt some of the points as campus individuals can be micromanaged at times. Also the language "thoughtfully disrupt the status quo" sounds argumentative.&nbsp; Leading from values should be taken broadly as everyone has different levels of these values due to their life experiences and circumstances. Just as the student profile lists grit, perseverance and resilience this should be added to the Leader profile as some of our staff are facing extreme challenges.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like that the "Profile of a Learner" document includes "Values-Driven Leader." With that in mind, I think the "Profile of a Leader" document should indicate "Relentless Pursuit of Success" rather than "Student Success" as the first section. Part of our vision as I understand is that we are working to equip not only professional leaders but student leaders. With this change, all of the bullets work except perhaps "demonstrate deep understanding of teaching &amp; learning". I also think this documetn would be stronger if the format were more similar to the "Profile of a Learner" document with ... by being..... and exhibiting... I would also like to see the concept of "failing forward" in this document.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The draft Profile of a Klein ISD Leader offers powerful keys to what citizens in school systems should be. Each of the 4 flags (Relentless Pursuit of Student Success, Unwavering Commitment to Serving Others, Investment in the Promise &amp; Purpose of Others, and Insatiable Desire to Learn and Improve) truly align with what K-12 public school leaders, teachers, and support staff should live daily in order to help students develop into citizens who also live these ideals.</title>

         <title>I like the descriptions of leader.  It&#39;s very advantageous.  I believe, in addition to sharing this document and encouraging this culture among campus staff, that we as a TLC team will want to live this out and hold each other accountable to staying true to the profile of a leader indicators.</title>
