We first look at the claim that has been all over the news either stated by a reporter or a person that is being interviewed. Then we would need to find the evidence, evidence can be found online, nowadays is very easy to find false sources so we would need to make sure our source is valid and look all over the internet just to make sure or you can always use a textbook for some circumstances but for this one that might not be an option, it all depends on what type of news. Lastly, now that you have evidence for your claim, you can have your reasoning. This method can be used for anything in our daily lives like the news.
