In the beggining felt sadness and repentence because I did not want to separete with my friends because I was united with them and I shared my fellings with them, could talk and someone listen to me. The fact that I need to learn everything from scratch did me almost crazy and afraid of what my future will be in the United States, I was afraind to think that I wouldn't learn English and end up working on a chinesse establishment by the fact that I don't know anything about here.

I had different emotions and that emotions wasn’t good. For example, I felt anxieties, awkwardness, sad and unhappy. It’s because it was really awkward to come to America and talk to people. First, you don’t know the language, and you can’t talk to anyone u fell the pressure in your had or heard. You feel so lonely. Therefore, people are arrogant in here. Like when they came early than you. They describe you from look.Like what you wear.

The emotional chaos I have been through with moving to the U.S. was unconfident on what I did. Since I'm being inferior in the city, and don't have a clue about things. Therefore, I constantly changed my response and action because of others. My friends are the leader of mine at first because I believe they are better than me and they lived longer here. However, it could lead to a bad outcome when you are only listening to others instead of yourself. For example, I obey everything my friend said and it gets me no benefits to choose a project that's not suitable for me and get a 60.

I remember the first I went to school, I was lost ex: i was to go to math class my i went to the cafeteria and when my teacher me she was asking what i am doing here i couldn't answer, I was embarrassing .

The personal chaos I experienced when moving to the U.S. was losing access to the most important person in my life - my grandmother. Leaving her meant I would lose access to an ancient culture and knowledge about nutrition and food. It also meant I would slowly forget the native language of my home country because I could no longer hear her voice. My grandmother spoke a native dialect that even my parents could only understand but could not speak. I was hoping I would keep my grandmother's native dialect 'alive' and pass it to our next generation. But I couldn't do that when I immigrated to the U.S.

After the time passed, the personal chaos didn't bother as it did. Since I recognized the serious qualities of friendship that people should be sincere and support each other. Moreover, the attitude that I have toward my friends has changed, I don't put myself at a lower level than them emotionally. I see my friendship with those friends who arrived earlier than me in equal status now. I replace the unconfident me and stop to lean on others constantly. To make decisions on my own and feel free to show my ideas, instead following them for every group project.

I feeling kind of downcast because i never friend but i not because of me cause i never greet them
But when my English started to get better greeting them, helping with them with homework like math because is one of my favorite subject, anyway umm my English got better because my friends they help me.

Now fortunate I can say that I overcome the struggles in the U.S, now I felt happiness with my progress with learn English I fell that I'm in a right way to improve my english. In the beggining a struggle that I faced is when I went to school and my first time that I walk in into the school I had no idea where to go and no idea who to ask because didin't speak English also to the situation get worse I was so nervous and afraid to what will happen with me, the peoples who passed me they looked at me with a look of preconcepition, they laughed, they spoke something in English to me that I don't remember until today. However that bad experience that I faced in my first time when I went to school, made me more motivated to learn English to not pass per that experience again, never and make me look ahead.

I do little feel humulating for not knowing English well. Because my parents doen't know English well too. So it's hard to make in appointment for us, and usually it gets messed up. And I feel like am just not learning and trying but am going to do my best, to make my parents lives better by learning english, styding and fimding a good place to work after finishing college.
