16 Ekim Dünya Gıda Günü kapsamında veli katılımlı bir etkinliğimiz olacak.

Etkinliğimizin adı: 🧂 Turşu Kurma Günü

Bu etkinlikte bir velimizi sınıfa davet ederek fermantasyon deneyimiyle mikrop dostu gıdaları tanıtacağız. Velimiz küçük bir bidonda turşu kurma aşamalarını öğrencilere uygulamalı olarak gösterecek.

🎯 Amaç:

Öğrencilerimizin doğal gıdaları tanıması, el becerilerini geliştirmesi ve geleneksel yöntemleri deneyimlemesi.

👩‍🍳 Görev:

Her okuldan bir veli belirlenerek sınıfa davet edilecek.

Velimiz malzemeleri (sebze, tuz, su, sirke, kavanoz/bidon) getirecek ve öğrencilerle birlikte turşu kurma sürecini anlatacak.

Etkinlik fotoğrafları çekilerek proje sayfasına kolaj yapıp paylaşılacak.

We will be holding a parent-participatory event for World Food Day on October 16th.

Our event is called: 🧂 Pickle Making Day

In this event, we will invite a parent to the classroom and introduce them to microbe-friendly foods through a fermentation experience. Our parent will demonstrate the steps of pickling in a small canister.

🎯 Objective:

For our students to learn about natural foods, develop their manual skills, and experience traditional methods.

👩‍🍳 Task:

One parent from each school will be invited to the classroom.

Our parent will bring the ingredients (vegetables, salt, water, vinegar, jar/can) and explain the pickle-making process with the students.

Photos of the event will be taken and shared as a collage on the project page.

16 Ekim Dünya Gıda Günü kapsamında 75. Yıl Cumhuriyet İlkokulu olarak “Fermantasyon Atölyesi: Turşu Kurma Etkinliği” gerçekleştirdik.

Velilerimizin katılımıyla gerçekleşen bu keyifli atölyede öğrencilerimiz;

🍋 sirke, tuz, mikroorganizmalar, fermantasyon ve probiyotik kavramlarını öğrendi,

🥕 kendi elleriyle turşularını kurdu,

⏳ sabır ve bekleme sürecinin önemini keşfetti.

Doğal gıdanın değerini anlamak, geleneksel yöntemlerle sağlıklı beslenmeyi öğrenmek ve bilimin mutfaktaki halini görmek bizler için çok öğretici oldu.

FERMENTATION WORKSHOP – SEEDS OF TOMORROW PROJECT 🥒🌍

As part of World Food Day on October 16th, we, as 75th Year Cumhuriyet Primary School, held a "Fermentation Workshop: Pickle Making Activity."

In this enjoyable workshop, attended by our parents, our students:

🍋 learned about vinegar, salt, microorganisms, fermentation, and probiotics,

🥕 made their own pickles,

⏳ discovered the importance of patience and waiting.

Understanding the value of natural foods, learning about healthy eating using traditional methods, and seeing science in action in the kitchen was very informative for us.

👏 We would like to thank our valued parents for their support.

This fun and hands-on activity helped children develop curiosity, cooperation, and fine motor skills, while discovering the joy of working together and valuing healthy food choices.

With the careful guidance of the signers, they prepare the pickles, wash the vegetables, read the rixetta and put everything in the jar. We have prepared a typical Apulian dish called "pric o prack".
