I always make sure I send enough materials for the whole family to create the transfer home activity. And I display the FAMILY activity.

We send home cooking activities to make with their kids. We also have sent home reading log activities to do along with the book and materials to do it

PACT Time at Home

Parents who are flex or part time are given the same opportunity to do PACT/Circle Time/Transfer home, and Parent Time as the full-time parents. PACT Focus is share and examples are given on how that can be done. Parent Time topics are sent to parents and response to reflection questions to materials or videos sent is done by parents and also do activities such as making a quilt or stocking for their child. They come to the center, get the materials, instruction sheet and do at home. After completion, they come back, show project and I sit down and use a rubric (shared before project) with them and we have a discussion about where both decide on level of completion.
