<title>El Gordo is a name for a different type of lottery. It is translated to &quot;the fat. This lottery has been done every single year since 1812 by a branch of Spanish Public Administration. The total prize for the first place jackpot would be about 720 million dollars. The price for one ticket is about 20 euros. The draw takes place on December 22nd and goes all day long, but the location of it often times changes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BKc_pq4eu4 </title>

<title>Las doce uvas de la suerte, or in english, &quot; The twelve grapes of luck,&quot; is a Spanish tradition that dates back to 1895 but became established in 1909. In December of 1909 a few vine growers made this this custom to better sell huge amounts of grapes from their very good harvest. The tradition consists of eating a grape each time the bell strike at midnight of December 31. This is supposed to bring you good luck for the new year. In some areas it is believed that the tradition wards away witches and all kinds of bad stuff or evil. There are two main places where people gather to eat the grapes: with family after the dinner or in the main squares around the country. The Puerta del Sol in Madrid is the most famous place to do it.</title>

<title>Papa Noel is &quot;Father Christmas,&quot; or how we call him, Santa Claus. Papa Noel is a &quot;mystical creature&quot; that brings presents on Christmas. He is usually depicted wearing a red hat with white fur. He is also usually shown as tall, with ruddy cheeks and nose, bushy eyebrows, and a white beard. Spoilers: Sadly he is a mystical figure and is not real.</title>

<title>El Día de las Velitas is one of the most traditional holidays in Colombia. It is celebrated on December 7, on the eve of the Immaculate Conception, which is a public holiday in Colombia. This holiday is often seen as the unofficial start to the holiday season in Colombia. On this day the tradition is to place candles and paper lanterns on windowsills, balconies, porches, sidewalks, streets, parks and squares. This is done to honor and celebrate the Virgin Mary. </title>
