The town of Burbia had several traditions but some of the most important were the Maranfallos. The Maranfallos consisted of putting on old clothes and a horror mask or dressing up. Those people chased you with foods like: flour, lard, icing sugar, etc.
They could also chase you with plants like: Holly or an olibo branch, etc.
This tradition was carried out in the month of August.
After being chased and stained all afternoon, night came and we ate paella, but not before they went around the city dancing with bagpipes. After eating, they danced and drank all night until dawn.
Then there was the tradition of Santa Ana, which consisted of paying for famous groups to come sing and dance in town, where we also drank and danced until dawn.
