I think that Betty was the one who threw the rock because she wanted to get back at Annabelle.

i think that Betty is a very interesting character in all of chapter 8 because we get a bit more info on her but she was still being her psychotic self she is just a really interesting character and i what to know more about her

I have a weird feeling with Annabel aunt Lilly She seems not all the way there she says things that dose not really make seance she dose not like housework or that she was supervising the mail

Did Betty know that Ruth went blind in that eye did she care and why would she hit her when she did nothing? Ruth would move back to the city because of this when she was like 12 no child should go through even if it was the great depression.

I want to know why Betty hurt James how does Betty know that Annabelle told her parents about the bullying? she is stalking them plus why would she pick James he is like 6 were Henry is 9 and can deal with more pain they would have just had to move the wire up so it would not kill him.

Why would Betty want to blame it on Toby when he was most likely not there because he wants to walk around during the day and that is one of the first spots he goes to when resses is in the middle of the day so he would be somewhere else there for he could not have thrown the rock that hit Ruth or set up the wire because he would have been at home or taking pictures. I think that Betty lost her father in the war because she is always blaming stuff on Tony who was in the war probably on the other side and he died so now she blames everyone that was part of the war on the american side.

I would like to know how Mrs. Taylor knows that Betty and Andy were not up in that tower? She said that she locked the door a few days earlier when she caught them when she should have been keeping an eye on the other kids because she also said that this was during recess. So why would she have been up there in the first place if she did not know something was going to happen or that something did not feel right?
