This article has shown me that North Korea has a worse threat than nuclear weapons. North Korea has programs that develop Bioweapons, and bio weapons would be used in retaliation to US military strikes because Bioweapons are hard to detect and are very deadly.
Why does North Korea want to develop long range missiles?

This simulation has shown me that military strikes could complicate things even more and could lead to an escalating war. Not only would it be between the US and North Korea, South Korea and China would end up getting involved too.
Why is North Korea targeting the US?

North Korea Military Strikes: Should the U.S. conduct military strikes against North Korea in order to destroy their long-range missile and nuclear weapons capabilities?

No, because the US must use every diplomatic option first, and because this could cause North Korea to launch nuclear weapons towards allies of the US that are close to North Korea (South Korea, etc.) to get the US to stop sending military strikes.

Is this policy an example of Isolationism, Containment, or Disengagement?

This policy is both Isolationism, disengagement and containment. The US is developing ways to stop missiles and strikes from North Korea and has spent a lot of money to do so(Isolationism). The US currently is trying to not aggravate North Korea into sending a military strike onto the US or cause them to send a military strike on any of the US's allies that are within North Korea's range(Disengagement). The US is trying to contain North Korea' s military power in fear of being attacked.(containment)

How is this policy polarizing?

There is conflict between how the US should try to solve this. Placing sanctions on North Korea, a military retaliation or try to bargain with North Korea. Some people want a military solution but there is no viable one, while others want a more diplomatic, peaceful solution, but North Korea doesn't want to talk it out with the US. The US has gotten China to try and stop North Korea's military strikes and missile testing, but North Korea won't listen to their own ally, so our government is split on how to continue to try stop North Korea.
