I'd say it works pretty well, even when I plan it out. It helps with keeping the brain flowing with ideas and I get something pretty good out of it, other than the lack of grammar. When I do this, I go somewhere quiet enough and listen to music to help me try and focus. Since I free write a lot, I'm always having many grammar mistakes. If everything is good, then there isn't much for me to do. If I have missed a few things, I would look over and see what I could add or subtract from my work. But if it's someone in the class, then they'll be able to point out the things I probably missed from the rubric and such. In order put it into practice, whenever I need to write something, either for school or personal works, I will do something different with my writing every time. Another way, is if I need to plan something, I use something to help me visualize it instead of writing it out. Usually I only get it from one person, which is my friend, so it's not always a good thing because they don't know the material that I'm doing for the class. So I want to try to get more people from my class to peer review my work and I can review theirs! Just would like some more collaboration.
