         <description><![CDATA[<div>Magnetic Attraction:<br>Step 1: Hold the magnet near to the mixture of nickel, copper carbonate and potassium chloride.&nbsp;<br>Step 2: Then, the nickel will be attracted over as it is magnetic so that the potassium and copper carbonate will be separated out.&nbsp;<br>Evaporation to dryness:<br>Step 3: Put the wire gauze on the Tripod Stand.<br>Step 4: Followed by putting the evaporating dush on top of the wire gauze.<br>Step 5: Turn on the Bunsen Burner<br>Step 6: Put the mixture of copper carbonate and potassium into the Evaporating dish.<br>Step 7: Wait for the solvent to evaporate to get the solute<br>Step 8: Due to the low melting point of potassium, it will melt to liquid and the copper carbonate will remain.<br>Step 9: Take a Filter Funnel and pour the mixture through it<br>Step 10: The copper carbonate will not go down because it's a solid and its bigger than the filter funnel hole.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) Put all the 3 solids chemical into a flat surface.&nbsp;<br>2) Put a magnet near the 3 solid chemical.<br>3) and since cobalt is magnetic, cobalt will be attracted by the magnet. copper and sodium is not magnetic.<br>4) for the remaining 2 substances , put them into the beaker with water then stir.&nbsp;<br>5) after stiring , pour the beaker onto another beaker with a filter paper. &nbsp;<br>6) copper (II) carbonate will be removed since it is insoluble.<br>7) then put the sodium carbonate into the evaporating dish and light up the bunsen burner to evaporate the remaining water.<br>now the 3 solid chemical is removed. &nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Dissolve the mixture in water: The three solid chemicals can be dissolved in water to create a solution. The water will dissolve the sodium carbonate and copper carbonate, but not the cobalt.</li><li>Filter the solution: Use a filter paper and funnel to filter the solution. The filter paper will catch the insoluble cobalt, leaving the soluble sodium carbonate and copper carbonate in the filtrate.</li><li>Precipitate the copper carbonate: Add a solution of sodium hydroxide to the filtrate to precipitate the copper carbonate. This is because copper carbonate is insoluble in alkaline solutions.</li><li>Filter the copper carbonate: Use a filter paper and funnel to filter the precipitate of copper carbonate.</li><li>Precipitate the sodium carbonate: Add a solution of calcium chloride to the filtrate to precipitate the sodium carbonate. This is because calcium carbonate is insoluble in water and will precipitate out, while the sodium chloride will remain in the solution.</li><li>Filter the sodium carbonate: Use a filter paper and funnel to filter the precipitate of sodium carbonate.</li><li>Dry the solids: Once you have separated the individual solid chemicals, dry them thoroughly using an oven or a desiccator.</li></ol><div><br><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>
