Their teamwork and discipline were very strong, and they managed to score and defend until the end of the game.

Disagreeing:

However, I disagree with people who blame the Indonesian players and say they didn’t try hard enough. In my opinion, Indonesia played with full spirit and fought till the last minute. Sometimes, football is just unpredictable, and we must accept the result.

Let’s keep supporting our national team and hope for better results in the future!

Do you agree with my opinion, or do you have another point of view? 😊

Zhevanya Dwi Felicia - XI C

Opinion/Statement:

In my opinion, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in schools is a great innovation that can help improve the quality of education. With AI, students can receive more personalized learning experiences, and teachers can also save time in grading and creating materials.

Agreeing:

I completely agree with the idea of using AI in education. One reason is that AI can adjust to each student’s learning speed and style, which makes studying more effective. For example, some apps powered by AI can give practice questions based on what the student needs to improve. It also allows students to access learning materials anytime and anywhere.

Disagreeing:

However, some people may disagree with this. They argue that if students depend too much on AI, they might become lazy and less motivated to think critically. In addition, AI can’t fully replace teachers because it lacks human emotions and understanding. Not all students have access to the internet or devices, so it might also create inequality in learning.

Conclusion:

So, while AI has many advantages in education, we should use it wisely and not forget the importance of real human interaction in the learning process.

Dewi Rahmawati

XI-C

Statement : In my opinion, the shift to remote learning during the pandemic has revolutionized education worldwide, bringing both opportunities and challenges. While it has opened new doors for flexible learning and technological integration, it has also exposed significant gaps in access and effectiveness that need to be addressed to ensure quality education for all students.

Agreeing:

I agree that remote learning offers tremendous benefits, especially in terms of flexibility. Students can learn at their own pace, revisit recorded lessons, and access a wide variety of educational materials online. This mode of learning also eliminates the need for commuting, which saves time and reduces expenses. Additionally, the integration of technology has encouraged the development of new teaching methods and tools that can cater to diverse learning styles.

Disagreeing:

However, I disagree with the idea that remote learning can completely replace traditional classroom education. The lack of face-to-face interaction makes it difficult for students to engage deeply, ask questions spontaneously, and benefit from immediate feedback. Many students also experience feelings of isolation, which can negatively impact their motivation and mental health. Furthermore, remote learning heavily relies on stable internet access and digital devices, which are not available to everyone, particularly in low-income or rural areas. This digital divide risks widening educational inequalities rather than closing them.

Many traders are experiencing losses of hundreds of millions of rupiah. It is crucial that the government provide emergency financial assistance programs, temporary trading facilities, fire preparedness training, and market insurance coverage.

disagreement:because market management is the responsibility of the government and managers. It is a program to assess the quality of the education system at the primary and secondary levels, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). ANBK aims to improve education quality by capturing learning inputs, processes, and outputs across all educational units.

Agreement

I believe the ANBK (Computer-Based Exam) is a step forward in Indonesian education. Computer-based exams allow students to become more familiar with technology, and the questions focus more on critical thinking skills. The ANBK also enhances the school's reputation by ensuring they successfully complete the tests provided by the school, and the selected students become more adept at literacy and numeracy.

Disagreement

But in my opinion, anbk has a bad effect on those who participate, it's not really bad but it has quite an influence because when we participate in anbk we get a dispensation from class lessons so we fall behind on the subjects that are going on in class, so if we don't catch up on the material at home we will fall behind our friends.

This step can prevent “sleeping” accounts from being used by irresponsible parties, such as for illicit transactions or money laundering. In addition, this action will also encourage customers to be more active and orderly in managing their accounts. With such close supervision, the national financial system will become safer and more transparent.

Disagreement: I disagree with PPATK's policy because it can be detrimental to the public, especially those who deliberately do not use their accounts for a certain period of time, for example to save for the long term or to save emergency funds. It is recommended that there should be an official notification and a grace period before freezing, so that the customer's rights are protected.

Many studies and recent news reports show that students, especially teenagers, need sufficient sleep in order to learn effectively. If students have to wake up at 4 or 5 in the morning to get ready for school, it clearly disrupts their natural sleep patterns. As a result, they become drowsy in class, have difficulty concentrating, and may even suffer from physical and mental health problems. In many other countries, schools start at 8 AM or even later, yet they still maintain a high-quality education system. (agreement)

I also disagree with the idea of school starting too late in the day. Starting school in the morning can help develop discipline, provide more time for learning, and allow students to finish earlier so they still have time to rest or participate in other activities in the afternoon. That said, early start times should still be adjusted based on students’ commute distances, transportation availability, and local community habits. (disagreement)

I think the best solution is to find a middle ground: schools could start a bit later (around 07:00 or 07:30 AM), while still maintaining efficient learning time and prioritizing students’ health. The earthquake was massive, and the fact that they kept going with the surgery was shocking to many. I believe that kind of courage and professionalism should be respected and even rewarded.

But, on the other hand, I also understand the people who think it was a dangerous decision. (DISAGREEING)
Performing surgery during such a powerful earthquake could’ve led to serious consequences not only for the patient, but also for the doctors and nurses in the room. If anything had fallen or the building was damaged, it could’ve turned into a disaster. So while their intention was good, it’s fair to question whether it was the safest thing to do.

"Scouts and scouting are mandatory extracurricular activities. We have stipulated this in Ministerial Regulation Number 13 of 2025. So, both are mandatory," said Abdul Mu'ti at the commemoration of National Children's Day at the Ruhama Labs Islamic Elementary School of UHAMKA, Ciputat, South Tangerang, Wednesday (July 23, 2025), as quoted by Antara. According to him, scouting education is not merely a supplement, but part of efforts to implement deep learning. Through direct experience and the creation of a conducive learning environment, students' character can be formed more effectively. "The hidden curriculum here is important, not only in terms of delivering material, but also in terms of experiences and environments that strengthen character learning," he said.

Agreeing :

I agree because the current curriculum is predicted to replace the learning method with in-depth learning, so that it is possible that regular scouting can support the learning method that we will implement in schools.

Disagreeing :

Some people may disagree because they think that scouting is an activity that is less suitable for them, because the activities are seen as quite extreme, such as being exposed to the sun, while not everyone has a strong physique.

The new target aims for most essential facilities to be completed sooner than initially planned, by the end of 2026.

The primary focus of this accelerated development includes renewable energy-based public transportation systems, integrated waste management, and the expansion of green open spaces. The Minister of PUPR stated that this expedited timeline is driven by a strong commitment to sustainable development and anticipates a rise in IKN's population.

However, some environmental observers and economists have voiced concerns. Their worries center on the potential rushed environmental impact and the massive budget allocation, especially when weighed against other pressing national priorities.

my opini:The steps to accelerate the development of green infrastructure in IKN are a strong signal of Indonesia's commitment to a sustainable future.

Nama alifya ajeng chelyana

Kelas Xl.A

Opinion:

This hypothetical scenario presents a fascinating intersection of pop culture, freedom of expression, and national identity. While the intent behind using the One Piece flag as a symbol of protest against perceived injustice is understandable, given its connotations of rebellion and freedom, it inevitably clashes with established norms of national symbolism. It highlights a generational and cultural divide in how respect for national emblems is perceived and expressed, especially in the digital age where virality can amplify such acts. The humor often associated with these online discussions doesn't negate the underlying seriousness of what could be interpreted as disrespect to state symbols

Agreeing

One could agree with the sentiment behind using the One Piece flag as a protest symbol by acknowledging its effective communication of disillusionment and a desire for change.

- Symbolic Power: The "Straw Hat Pirates" from One Piece embody ideals of freedom, justice, and fighting against oppressive systems. For many, these resonate deeply with their own frustrations regarding political and social inequality. Using this widely recognized symbol can be a powerful way to convey a message without explicitly stating it, especially among younger demographics.

-Creative Expression: This act can be seen as a form of creative and unconventional protest, leveraging popular culture to draw attention to serious issues. It shows how people are finding new avenues to voice dissent when traditional methods feel ineffective.

-Highlighting Discontent: Regardless of whether one agrees with the method, the act itself undeniably brings attention to the perceived injustices that the protesters are experiencing. It forces a conversation about the underlying societal issues.

Disagreeing

Conversely, one could disagree with the act of flying the One Piece flag, particularly alongside or in place of the national flag, based on legal and nationalistic perspectives.

-Disrespect to National Symbols: The Indonesian Law No. 24 of 2009 clearly outlines the proper display of the Red and White flag. Placing it alongside or treating it with less reverence than another flag, even a fictional one, can be interpreted as a disregard or even an insult to the national symbol. This is not merely about the "official" status of the One Piece flag but the perceived intentional slight to the national emblem.

-Dilution of National Identity: For many, the Red and White flag represents the sacrifices made for independence and the unity of the nation. Introducing a pop culture symbol into this space, especially as a form of protest, could be seen as diluting the sanctity and unique significance of the national flag and potentially undermining national pride.

-Legal Implications: While the intent might be to protest, the act could technically fall under legal scrutiny for improper treatment or display of the national flag. Even if the One Piece flag isn't an "official" flag, its use in such a prominent and symbolic manner could be deemed inappropriate by authorities and a significant portion of the populace.

Improves Digital Competence: Introducing Deep Learning from an early age can equip students with future technology skills that are highly sought after in the workplace and industry.

2.

Statement:

Recently, some people believe that plastic should still be used because it is practical and cheap. However, I think plastic waste is one of the main causes of serious environmental pollution.

Agreement:

I agree that plastic has many benefits in everyday life. Moreover, its low production cost makes plastic affordable for everyone.

Disagreement:

I disagree if plastic continues to be used just because it is considered practical. Plastic is a material that is very difficult to decompose and takes hundreds of years to break down naturally. As a result, plastic waste piles up and pollutes the land, water, and ocean. This is extremely harmful to ecosystems and human health. Therefore, it is important to reduce plastic use and switch to more environmentally friendly materials.

Hello, my name is Andra Ghalu Bahari from class XI-A.

The purpose of this assignment is to understand your opinion on the recent statement by Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Do you agree or disagree with her remarks? Please explain your reasons. Thank you! 😀

Opinion 💡

Kim Yo-jong reiterated Pyongyang's firm stance that South Korea remains a permanent enemy, and that any diplomatic efforts from Seoul—including propaganda balloons and loudspeakers—would not sway its "no interest in dialogue" policy.

Furthermore, she asserted that negotiations with the US are only possible if the United States drops its demands for denuclearization and recognizes North Korea's nuclear status as a legitimate nuclear weapons state. These statements reflect a consistent strategy: North Korea maintains its sovereignty and symbols of power while seeking to exploit the Seoul-Washington alliance.

Agreeing 🤔

1. Consistency of regime policy: Since early 2024, North Korea has officially declared South Korea an "enemy," dropped reunification rhetoric, and dismantled reunification symbols in its constitution and infrastructure.

2. International Attitude: It is unrealistic to expect the US to abandon its denuclearization policy, as this could potentially undermine international non-proliferation norms and raise concerns among allies like Japan and South Korea.

3. Strategy to undermine the US-South Korea alliance: Kim Yo-jong's statements aim to drive a wedge between South Korea and the US, while capitalizing on Trump's pragmatic approach, which indirectly acknowledged Pyongyang's nuclear status.

Disagreeing 🤯

1. Lack of dialogue opportunities: The statement that dialogue will not occur aligns with South Korea's strategic documents, which remain open to compromise. President Lee Jae Myung has taken a number of proactive steps to rebuild trust, such as halting propaganda and engaging Pyongyang in peace initiatives.

2. Risk implications: Establishing a doctrine that rejects reunification and casts the South as an enemy remains open to escalating military tensions and increasing the risk of open conflict in the region.

3. Reliance on cooperation with Russia: Pyongyang's increasing focus on Russia (military-economic diagram) brings long-term uncertainty, especially if conditions in Ukraine change or international opposition to Russia intensifies.

🔗 For further information, please read the following link 👇🏻

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/07/28/asia/north-korea-kim-sister-south-enemy-intl-hnk

Lyra Alya Rahman XI-A (20)

I once read this article about Nadin Amizah Criticizes Film for Using Her Lyrics Without Permission. Indonesian singer Nadin Amizah expressed frustration toward Sinemart Pictures for allegedly using lyrics from her songs without permission in their new film Bertaut Rindu: Semua Impian Berhak Dirayakan.

Nadin had rejected the use of her song Bertaut back in February 2024, but was surprised when the film was released in July 2025 with a title containing lyrics from her songs. Although she admitted she has no legal ownership over the words used, she felt disrespected because her refusal was ignored.

She also stated that Bertaut is a deeply personal song for her mother, and she didn't want it associated with a romantic film. Nadin emphasized that mutual respect is important, even without legal claims.

Agereeing :

I agree with Nadin's stance because an artist's creative rights should be respected. Even though the words might be common, the emotional value behind them is personal. Nadin had already refused the request clearly, so her decision should be honored. I also believe that artists have the right to protect the meaning and purpose behind their work, especially when it involves personal stories or feelings. Respecting that is important, not just legally, but ethically too.

Disagreeing :

I disagree with the production house's decision to use Nadin's song without her permission. As the songwriter, Nadin has full rights over her work, including the right to refuse its use. Ignoring her decision shows a lack of respect for the artist and her creative process. Even if there was no clear legal violation, ethically, they should have asked for and respected her consent. Using someone's work without permission is inappropriate, especially when the song has personal meaning to the artist.

Opinion : I think blocking dormant bank accounts that have been inactive for more than five years is a wise decision. It helps prevent misuse of funds for illegal activities like money laundering.

Agree : I completely agree with PPATK’s decision to block dormant bank accounts that have been inactive for more than five years. With over 31 million unused accounts holding more than Rp6 trillion, it poses a huge risk in terms of financial transparency and security. Dormant accounts can easily be exploited for illegal activities such as money laundering or fraud, especially if they are left unchecked. By taking action, PPATK is promoting better financial governance and helping to ensure that all banking activities remain accountable and traceable. This is an important step to strengthen the integrity of the financial system in Indonesia.

Disagree : While I understand the concern, I disagree with the decision to block these dormant accounts without proper notification or warning to the account holders. Some people may have intentionally kept their money in the account for long-term savings or other personal reasons, even if they haven’t made any transactions recently. Blocking these accounts suddenly could cause confusion or distress, especially if the funds are significant. A better approach might have been to contact the owners first, give them a deadline, and allow them to reactivate or close the accounts themselves before any official action was taken.

Yonathan serafim pangaribuan XI-A

One example that has gained public attention is Sahdan Arya Maulana, a Gen Z neighborhood head (RT) in North Jakarta. He became known for his quick response in repairing damaged roads in his area, an action that sparked various reactions from the public. While some view it as a sign of strong youth leadership, others question whether such responsibilities should fall under a neighborhood leader’s role. This kind of leadership is not only inspiring but also necessary in today’s society, where many issues demand fresh ideas and quick responses. The decision of some young people to be childfree, or not have children, is often misinterpreted as simply following a trend. The decision to delay or even not have children is often driven by rational reasons, such as economic instability and a lack of government support for families.

Aggrement:

I've always been part of Gen Z and agree with the statement that Gen Z chooses to be childfree. Because every individual has the right to choose their own life decisions.

Most of them want to delay having children for financial reasons; they want to wait until they're financially stable. As Generation Z, we realize that raising children requires significant costs, not to mention the mental fortitude required.

Many of them also want to break the cycle of poverty caused by the old-fashioned "more children, more fortune" mindset. This is a useless phrase used to incite others to have more children, especially those who are already poor, who will suffer after settling down.

Disaggrement:

If too many people choose to be child-free, it will result in a declining birth rate while the death rate will increase.

Music Royalties in Commercial Spaces

Agreement:

I agree with the application of this royalty obligation to large-scale businesses such as hotels, restaurants, and cafes. In these establishments, music is often a crucial element that creates an atmosphere, enhances the customer experience, and even contributes directly to the appeal and profitability of the business. Given their generally greater financial capacity, this royalty contribution feels proportionate and fair. It can also foster a healthier music ecosystem, where artists receive a fair share of their work, thus motivating them to continue creating.

Disagreement:

However, I also disagree if this obligation is also rigidly applied to small commercial spaces like warungs. Warungs and other micro-businesses often operate on very thin profit margins. Music played in warungs often serves as personal entertainment for the owners or simply background noise without significantly impacting sales or profits. Charging them royalties could be a burdensome and disproportionate financial burden, potentially hampering the viability of already small businesses.

Opinion:

I believe it's important to find a fair balance between copyright protection and supporting economic growth.

Name : Najwa Shabrina

Class : XI-A

A recent announcement of a new trade deal between Indonesia and the United States, which lowers Indonesia's trade tariff to 19%, has been met with both celebration and caution. While seen as a positive economic step, analysts are warning that this deal could present a "geopolitical challenge" for non-aligned Indonesia as it seeks to rebalance its ties with other key economic partners, notably China. The deal also includes plans for Indonesia to import significant amounts of US crude oil and set up modular refineries with American engineering company KBR.

Stating Opinion:

This new trade deal is a double-edged sword for Indonesia. While the immediate economic benefits of reduced tariffs and increased US investment are clear and welcome, the long-term geopolitical implications are complex and could potentially strain Indonesia's delicate balance in global power dynamics.

Agreeing:

Economic Boost: I agree that this deal could significantly boost Indonesia's economy. Lower tariffs make Indonesian products more competitive in the US market, and the planned refinery investments will create jobs and strengthen our energy infrastructure. It's a pragmatic move to secure economic growth.

Diversification: It's smart for Indonesia to diversify its economic partnerships. Relying too heavily on any single major power can be risky. This deal with the US helps to broaden our economic horizons and reduce dependence, which is a sound strategy for national resilience.

Disagreeing:

Geopolitical Alignment Concern: I disagree with the notion that this deal is purely beneficial. Indonesia prides itself on its non-aligned foreign policy. This strong economic leaning towards the US could be perceived by other major players, particularly China, as a shift in allegiance, potentially leading to unwelcome political or economic pressures from those relationships.

Dependency on US Oil: While new refineries are good, the commitment to process imported American oil could create a new form of dependency. Indonesia should prioritize developing its own energy sources and not just become a processing hub for another country's resources. This could undermine our energy independence in the long run.

Name: Nadyn Kamila Ali

Class: XI-A

A rising awareness of environmental issues has brought fast fashion into the spotlight. While fast fashion allows consumers—especially teenagers—to access trendy clothes at affordable prices, many critics argue that the industry contributes significantly to pollution, textile waste, and unethical labor practices. In response, campaigns encouraging youth to abandon fast fashion have emerged, pushing for a shift to sustainable alternatives.

Fast fashion is a controversial topic. While it offers affordability and accessibility, its environmental and ethical costs cannot be ignored. However, forcing teenagers to completely stop buying fast fashion is not a fair or practical solution. Instead, we need a more balanced approach that includes education, consumer responsibility, and systemic change in the industry.

Agreeing:

I agree that fast fashion contributes to textile waste and environmental pollution. The production of cheap clothing often involves harmful chemicals, excessive water use, and unsustainable materials, which damage ecosystems. Shifting to more sustainable habits is essential for the planet's future.

I also agree that many people—especially teenagers—are unaware of how their clothing choices impact the environment. Raising awareness through education, school programs, and community campaigns can help young consumers make more responsible decisions.

Disagreeing:

I disagree with the idea that teenagers are the main problem in the fast fashion crisis. In fact, waste from households, industries, and adults contributes much more to environmental degradation. Singling out youth ignores the bigger picture.

Fast fashion exists because many people can't afford expensive sustainable fashion. Teenagers often have limited income and need affordable clothing. Simply banning or shaming them for buying fast fashion does not solve the root problem. Instead, governments should provide incentives for ethical brands and promote programs like clothing swap events or creative reuse movements, such as Upcycle Youth Indonesia and Swap & Share Jakarta.
