Light is a wave like sound. Unlike sound light is an electromagnetic wave. That means that light can travel through space and does not need a medium to travel through. Also light waves are made of tiny light particles that travel in waves.

    There are also three sources that you can get energy from: Nuclear energy, Fossil fuels, and Solar energy. Nuclear energy is obtained from radioactive materials such as Uranium. This is a very not eco-friendly energy source.This is because radioactive materials release harmful acids which cause acid rain. This is also not a renewable energy source (renewable energy is an energy source that regenerates). Fossil fuels are obtained from ancient plants which compressed into oil and coal. Fossil fuels are nonrenewable and are not eco-friendly. This is because they, when burned, release harmful gases such as carbon dioxide. This is also not a renewable energy source. Solar energy is the only one of these that are eco-friendly. Solar energy harnesses the sun's energy which makes it eco-friendly because the sun is a renewable energy source.

    Sound, radio, and light are all types of energy that travel through waves. Although they are all waves some of them are totally different types of waves.Sound needs a medium to travel through like air which makes it a mechanical wave. Light does not need a medium because it can travel through a vacuum. This makes it an electromagnetic wave. Radio is also an electromagnetic wave because it too can travel through vacuums.

    Potential and kinetic energy are two different types of energy. Potential energy is also called chemical energy. Potential energy is when the atomic bonds hold energy in a chemical form. Kinetic energy is also called movement. Kinetic energy is when an object is in motion.
