For a long time we have been thinking how to create a healthier and more sustainable world, so the fashion world must not be far behind on it.  In the fashion world, the pandemic has been a sign to adapt to the new reality and apparently to the drastic changes that are coming for fashion. As a consumer, I can give an example, nowadays I am looking for more sustainable clothes because I want to help my planet. My first contribution to have a more sustainable world were  the masks made of fabric, and as a consumer of catwalks, I can say that the fashion industry realized in 2020 that so many fashion weeks in the world were no longer so necessary, since a lot is spent and little is saved at the level of waste or papers, so the best alternative would be to take fashion to a healthier, more sustainable and therefore clearly technological environment. This is why I believe that for the future a basic fashion is coming, which seeks the comfort of consumers while satisfying the need for sustainable garments, it can be made from waste or recycled. I believe that fast fashion is already a fact that it is not a healthy practice and consumers seek further away from it. So for the future I also project curative or medicinal clothes, comfortable and practical. For example something that adapts easily to the weather or can be worn in various ways. I see a basic color palette such as white and nudes, of course the colors will never go out of style and will evoke the nature and environment that we are longing for.

They will change commodity choices, such as: Organic, Natural Fibers Eco-textiles and To recycle. According to Tyler Little in his book The Future of Fashion (2018) the rise of the circular economy, corporate social responsibility, growing consumer concern, the emergence of the shared economy and technological innovation are certain macroeconomic trends that stimulate the growth of this sustainable fashion movement. As a consumer, I take into account the materials with which the garments were made, I have never agreed with coats that use animal hair, and I feel that this sustainable fashion change is only just beginning as much is to be discovered of this fashion. One style prediction that will dominate the next decade is the idea of androgyny and playing with traditional ideas of what men and women "should" wear. Celebrities like Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet, Ruby Rose, are some of the ones that already have been “playing” with this futuristic fashion trend.

To better understand it, it’s vital to explain what the term “androgynous” means. The term Androgynous originates from the Latin word ‘androgyne’ which describes a mix of male and female physical characteristics. ‘Androgynous fashion’ refers to clothing and accessories designed to avoid creating a distinction between masculine and feminine physical characteristics and to express non-binary gender identity. Androgynous fashion styles are NEITHER feminine NOR masculine but gender-inclusive and sexually neutral.

Currently this style holds a lot of stigma, but I believe in the future it will become something far more accessible and many will view it as something “normal”.

There will be an increase use of natural materials such as organic cotton and hemp, Chelsea Bravo used for creating elegant garments that blend style with sustainability, for a more mindful fashion.

In my opinion the next years coats will be escencial in a closet, It is a garment that if you know how to use it can match any type of style.

One of the things that most characterizes these styles and that I think are being seen a lot more these days is that skinny jeans will become obsolete and wide boot jeans will come, so you may want to throw away your favorite skinny jeans because the next decade they will be dominated by the trouser styles of the 70s.
