Her music's genres vary from Electric pop to Nordic folk music. I've seen her perform live in Denmark in 2016, and the energy that she radiates from the stage is phenomenal. She truly loves what she does, and it is very inspiring. She's authentic and doesn't try to be something she's not. She loves nature, and it is one of her inspirational sources for making music, and for that, I can relate to her. She inspires me to constantly develop my understanding of who I am as a human and artist, so I can authentically be myself and find my own musical style. Aurora said in an interview with Billboard (Hampp, 2016) that if she could use one word to describe her music it would be "Emotional" and that's the way I would describe my music.

She is a singer-songwriter, and most of the songs she has released have been written by her and her brother Finneas O'Connell, who himself is a singer-songwriter and record producer. Billie Eilish released her debut song Ocean Eyes when she was just 13 years old. I think her musicality and lyricality is very unique.
