Abdullah Suhail: This year's biology experience was pretty interesting and I found it extremely to be with a teacher who was calm and composed and ready to kill us the next second and that really made the lesson more fun and more interactive and insightful. Could say she's one of my favorite teachers. I also seriously felt that with all the things we faced this school year which were real pains, we still managed to complete a fair chunk of the portion and in detail without missing the essentials.

The Biology Experience Through the School Year

My experience was very interesting, to summarize it. (fairly hard to do for me)
Time to elaborate: we've learned many units with plenty of interesting concept, some of which we got to discover through the lab, like seeing plant and animal cells.

Learning with Miss Gloria (who in my opinion is one of the best teachers) was an interesting experience in many aspects. Experimenting with online (at school) and distance learning lead to many laughs and interesting events.

Looking at Biology overall, I guess one of my favorite topics was learning about blood and immunity. It was fascinating to learn how organized the blood stream, vessels and immune system are, how perfectly they have been designed.I'm forced to acknowledge, however, the many other promising units that I myself and the others enjoyed, especially the topic of excretion and particularly the kidneys that others have loved (though I'm not their biggest fan)

Overall, as said before, it was an amazing experience, and I wish I could say that I'd be looking forward to next year's experience. Thank you for the amazing experience, Miss!

Growing up, I wasn't a fan of sciences at all. I wouldn't really enjoy knowing how the human body works or how animals survive. Miss Gloria completely changed my thoughts about Biology! We've learned a good amount of information and went through a lot of units. She has a way of making complicated units seem like a piece of cake. I'd say Miss Gloria is my favourite teacher, as she has her ways to make Biology lessons quite fun. If it wasn't for Miss Gloria, I would've failed ????? I'm always excited for Biology classes and it seems like Biology is my #1 subject now, thanks to her! Aside from academics, Miss Gloria is such an outstandingly kind person. 100% do not regret moving schools and meeting her.

8.5/10 - No comfy blankets or pillows supplied, so had to sleep on table unfortunately. Had a boomer for a teacher so naps were interrupted at times to help operate the smartboard. Classes were pretty chill though, and very easy to fall asleep in so a big plus there! For future classes, bringing your own pillow/blanket and a warm cup of cocoa would be recommended.

Note: Biology lessons have the unique ability of putting people to sleep. Keeping that in mind, kindly do not drool all over the place.

During this year we covered quite a lot of units compared to the inconveniences that were going on. Honestly, biology was one if my favorite subjects I took this year as everything we learnt was somehow related to us and our bodies. I’m very thankful for my biology teacher Ms Gloria as she was very understanding and helped us throughout the year to understand all the concepts required and went out of her way to ensure we get the best marks.

Typing this... well it's quite hard, or rather disconsolate. To summarize an experience such as this is incomprehensible, and anyone who claims to delineate the experience pretentiously is surely deranged.
However, I digress... I'm practically rambling at this point (and the use of ellipsis not helping) Whether, I'm subconsciously or cognitively evading the question. That's up to you.

To say the experience was brilliant would be an understatement. A very thought-provoking course, well organized, clear-cut, simple, and spit into digestible segments. Nevertheless, a course is only as good as its mentor (Yeah that's a saying), and well what can I say about the mentor other than, she's the best anyone has or will have. An exceptional leader, a meticulous mentor, and a wonderful friend. That is what made the course for me, and I which I could truly describe the mentor, but I can't. All I can do is express by gratitude.

Well overall... Id say a 9.8/10 (Always room for improvement... would visit again)

Also Umar sucks., what a boomer.. I'm I right ?

Topics made very easy and simple. 100% would’ve failed otherwise. Teachers made a big difference, Ms was very easy to talk to educational purposes or otherwise. Is a friend more than a teacher but that doesn’t come in the way of teaching and the learning process which is also very well explained and made easy for us to tackle.

At first, I honestly did not like Biology at all. It would always be Chemistry then Physics and eventually Biology. This year was the year where it changed, now Biology is first and then came all the other Sciences. It was mainly the class which made Bio fun and not hard to learn i guess especially Mrs.Gloria. Apart from all of that, this year's experience (overall) was the best I would say indescribable rather because there were actually too many emotions that I had this year so the word I would use would be indescribable. This is of course disregarding the inconveniences and the problems that we had faced this year. Mrs Gloria was such a teacher where she believed in every student and I think saw there potential for learning. Even if I would get a low mark on a certain test, she would think that I will and would get a better mark on the next test that she would give us ( Even if sometimes I didnt). She would try all the new things ( even though she would ask help from us because she sometimes does behave like a boomer), to help us learn because everyone learns new topics in a different way. Actually in fact, Mrs Gloria has helped me in Bio a lot and i can not thank her enough for here help too.

Its just sad to see that we can't our goodbyes in person and if we have to we have to do it online ( which is sometimes pretty shitty). There is no scale that can measure the amount of fun and help I received from Mrs.Gloria. I will never have a Bio teacher that could be compared to Mrs Gloria

By Jayditya.
