She was born in Coyoacan, Mexico 1907, died the year of 1954 at the age of 47.
She married Diego Rivera who is also an artist.
Frida's works were inspired by the Mexico folk culture and her main focus was surrealism which means she was expressing her art with imaginative dreams and vision that aren't real.
Frida Kahlo's life was unfortunate as she had polio as a child and in her teenager life she had an accident which caused to have health problems for the rest of her life.
Before her accident Frida Kahlo wanted to be a doctor but then after her accident she put her main focus on painting.
She married Diego Rivera
Frida also had interest in politics.

Currently the best place to see Frida Kahlo's best art works is in the museum in Mexico city located in La Casa Azul (the blue house) where she grew up. Apart of Frida Kahlo's paining the museum has paintings of kahlo's husband and letters and objects that belong to Frida Kahlo. 
I think Australia should exhibit Frida's artwork because I believe women will be encourage by her artworks because Frida through her paintings show us that women that have pains and frustrations should make steps towards making sense of and understanding them.
I think it's a good idea to exhibit these artworks in Sydney as it's the largest population city in Australia. I believe we live in an era where we are looking equality in gender and for me the artwork of The Two Frida's is the most powerful artwork because it symbolise her uncertain identity and shows me that any women should discover what they really are and what they can do.

When I saw her pictures my first reaction was the love of a woman for her indigenous culture shown in her paintings and the methods that she used in her artworks for example she uses in some of herself portraits a lot of traditional dresses to represent the Mexican indigenous culture (see picture below). For my inspiration, I looked at her self portraits artworks and I felt inspired because in her portraits she painted a woman that wasn't pretty and had multiples problems but was confident on herself to go ahead in life .For example, When I looked at the artwork below the first things I saw was a face and a butterfly and it shows me her love for the nature which I love it too. That accident was so bad because it change her life forever as she couldn't have any babies and had health problems that cause her  emotional pains in her life.
