A lot of expecting mothers don't have access to proper medical care, ultrasound appointments, prenatal medicine, proper nutrition, etc. There should be more access to these items to ensure the health of the mom and the baby. There is also a very unfair amount of maternity leave for moms. It is either a very short period of time or its a period of time where they don't receive any form of pay or its a small amount. This should be a problem that is fixed immedietly. Birth is a rough process on the body and mind and having that time to bond with the baby and heal is crucial.
