Education has always been a huge part in my life. This picture was me receiving a scholastic honors award. I have always enjoyed the process of learning and helping others learn. I want to make an impact on the students I will have in the future! I strive to encourage others. I went to a very small rural school which taught me the impact teachers can have on students.

Being a third-generation teacher, I have been surrounded by educators my whole life. I have loved teaching and helping others my whole life. Having first-hand experiences behind the scenes of education has really affected me and has shown me all the great things that go into being a teacher besides the students. My family as shown me how important teachers are to a community, and now my purpose is to continue sharing knowledge to others.

My Educational Career

I am originally from Waldron, Arkansas. I plan to stay and teach here; I have fallen in love with the Northwest area. I plan on receiving my Master's in Education and continuing to give back to the community I have found in Fayetteville. I aim to build a good reputation with my students, so they always feel safe and excited to come to class. These women that I have shown changed my educational career and are the reason I am in education today.
