"Good to Great" by Jim Collins inspired me to reach out by giving the advice of simply figuring out what you must do to better your company when improving, and then to simply do it compared to other countries who made a huge deal about it resulting in negative reactions of their employees with how overhyped it is. In our own spiritual lives, we should efficiently accurately discover in what religious aspects or qualities we are deficient, and plan successful methods of attaining improvement to who we are as people in order to in turn assist others in achieving improvement of themselves too, in a timely manner which is neither too rushed that it results in an unstable foundation and creates only a fallacy of improvement which quickly crumbles when push comes to shove, nor too slow that we waste too much time trapped within our own consciousness unproductively fabricating roundabout agendas that fail to bring positive change into fruition.

An example of mercy and compassion from "Good to Great" by Jim Collins is his advice to be understanding yet fair to your employees. It is important to confidently and correctly draw the line between a rigorous and ruthless workload, in order to build your company not as a place full of overworked and unmotivated employees, but instead as a positive place full of ambitious and hard working employees

"Good to Great" taught me that humility is important as a leader, and also not to chase pipe dreams and hope for miracles without putting in the work for your company. In the same way, with religion we must not put ourselves before God, and we also cannot rely on God for miracles if we do not put in the effort and dedication ourselves.

Constructive ways we can follow in the ways of Mary I learned from "Good to Great" by Jim Collins are just as it is unwise to make radical or spontaneous changes to your company while growing, or to follow technological innovations blindly, when growing our own spiritual lives we must be prudent and patient to slowly grow the person we are into the person we want to be, built in the image of Mary.

In "Good to Great" by Jim Collins the "Good to Great" companies often relied on their own intellect and character when building their companies and overcoming hardships and trials that came their way. They made wise decisions that were not foolhardy and driven by emotion at the cost of others wellbeing, but took prudent and calculated steps in order to benefit every facet of the company. When one employee purposely slacks off or makes trouble for others, they must not let that one employee pull down the rest of the company with them. Just as they must be ready to fire incompetent employees when necessary, but also be aware that employees are also free to leave when their conditions worsen below their standards. CEO of "Good to Great" companies built their companies relying on their humble, intellgient, and charismatic personalities to build rapport with employees who were motivated to work for such great people. They often utlized the philosphy of "One genius with a thousand helpers", which is when one talented individual enlists other talented individuals under them in order to achieve greatness. In "Good to Great" companies, leaders will set clear and realisitc goals for their employees to acomplish, and employees in return will fulfil these goals. Companies which set unrealisitc goals, lose sight of their initial goal, or enlist the help of unmotivated and lackluster employees only set themselves up for failure and their company evetually goes bankrupt and disapears. While being simply talented individuals is enough for being a leader initially when starting a company, it is not satisfactory in the long run, and eventually managing a large company will become too much to handle; however, to combat the increasing load, it is important for CEOs who want to have "Good to Great" companies to also improve themselves over the years. In a company, it is important to be up to date technologically, and in every good to "Good to Great" company they were very technologically sophisticated and adept and even won media awards for it, however they themselves rarely publicize it and make massive deals tooting their own horns. Like their goals, they come up with solutions to problems and effectively do what needs to be done. They are pragmatic, and don't hope for miracles. Rather than hoping for instant growth, they instead slowly but surely put in the work to properly build their company with trustworthy and competant individuals. They are always calculating and assessing without bias. They look upon and analyze their past decisions without prejudice nor personal bias. They do not blame others for their own mistakes, but instead honestly and with integrity take blame for their own mishaps, then maturely take steps to overcome said errors.
