         <description><![CDATA[<div>IReady is a useful tool in tracking reader progress. Students participate in interactive read-alouds and "Reader's Theaters." Anchor charts and writing notebooks are also frequently used. The class participates in "Accountable Talk," in which students are given a small assignment before independent reading and then students share their findings. They then participate in a "Think-Pair-Share" to let everyone know what they learned. </div>]]></description>

All students are given minutes from the classroom reading that occurs each day, which the teacher signs for. Then they record their reading at home, which a parent signs for. </div>]]></description>
