2. As a child I got don't open the door, never leave alone after dark, and stranger danger talks.
3. I think black parents feel it's important to have these talks because they are scared that someone racist and dangerous could deem their child a threat and they want to prevent any harm as much as possible.
4. This book is very hard to relate to for me. I don't experience any problems as harsh as in the book.
