I want the environment to be an important place for my students, and more so, my children. Kelowna has changed drastically since I was a kid. The parks were larger areas and access to the natural world was far more simple. I had climbing trees and spots where there are golf courses and development now. What happened to the animals in these places? Were tradeoffs created? I know I never asked questions, so I want to start for my children.

1: The connection I have with the Earth is caring for the plants as they give us nutrients and energy.

2: The connection I have with the Earth is all of the food that we eat.

1 : My connection to the earth is with my friends and family I love going out on hikes or camping with them

2 : I don't really have a connection to the earth I went camping with a few friends once that is pretty much it.

3 : My connection with the Earth has to do with going outside for walks with my family and playing sports with my friends

1 : I love playing and doing activities outside but I don't stop to think what climate change can do to effect the earth

2 : I really love going outside and playing outside sports. In addition I also feel more relex in nature and think more clearly

1: When I go outside I think I feel fresh and the air I breathe out of is amazing. I always go outside whenever I want to be relaxed and get some fresh air. I also love playing sports outside.

2: When I go outside I feel really good about my self. I like a little breeze, because it makes me feel fresh. I like to play hockey, basketball and football outside.

Person 1: I want people to take endangered species more seriously. Animals are needed to keep the Earth sustainable. If we just let animals go extinct it could drastically effect us as humans.

Person 2: I hope in the future that other people take the Earth more serious so that more animals do not go extincted. So it doesn't affect our food in our environment.

Person 1: I realized how important it is to take care of the Earth. Learning about how everything is connected made me see that my actions matter. I now understand that simple things I do every day can impact the environment.

#1: As a result, of climate change, the weather has been different and warmer. So there is less rain. Rain reminds me of my home country , where it rained a lot. If the earth continues to warm up, there will be less rain

#2: As climate change, It results in the weather changing into hotter and warmer. This means that some countries have been hotter than other countries because of climate change. Like the Philippines where my family is under constant threat of heat & fire.

when I go outside I get excited by getting to go outside and play my favourite sport rugby

after a working activity going outside can relax us by getting a cold breeze this can help realises stress.
